Mountain Condo in the aspens. Ski, Hike, Mountain Bike, Pet Friendly

Fully remodeled end unit condo minutes from the ski area. Sitting out on the deck you will enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains. The open feel inside gives you room to enjoying your family. Located around the property are three trailheads to hike in the aspen trees that surround our mountain vacation home. Come and enjoy a vacation in the mountains only 20 minutes from Durango! Plus Pet Friendly

Our Accommodations comfortably sleep 6 but with two sofa sleepers in the living room you can add 2 more guests. Note that prior approval is needed for more than 6 guests.
Upstairs you will find the suites. The master bedroom includes 1 king bed and a large ensuite bathroom. The large guest bedroom includes 1 queen bed and a set of twin bunks with ensuite bath.
The living room has two queen sofa sleepers that can be used for additional guests.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to cook. There is a large fridge, electric cooktop and stove, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery, cookware, toaster, kitchenaid mixer, crockpot and Keurig coffee maker and 12 cup coffee maker.

Three smart TV's, one in living room and two in the upstairs bedrooms. Just login and use our guest option or use your own login for your streaming services!

Our unit is equipped with Starlink for WIFI. It can accommodate all your steaming devices and computer needs.

There is a washer and dryer in the unit and some basic detergent for your use.

There are basic pantry items including seasonings, tea, sugar and flour.

Out on the back deck is a bbq grill (available in the summer)

There is so much to do in the area, so come and enjoy our Mountain Condo!!

If you are booking for the Christmas weekend, it must include Both Christmas Eve and Day and be a 4 night minimum. The same requirement applies to July 4th. Must include the 4th and a minimum of 4 nights. This allows our Cleaning crew ample amount of time over a Holiday weekend to clean and prepare for our guests accommodations.

The host is super responsive. The home is very well stocked with the supplies you need for the week. The location is great if you are visiting purgatory ski resort. Our second stay here. Love the location, the cleanliness and the management.

Beautiful condo!

Our stay was fabulous! The condo is so nice and well taken care of. The porch area outside is perfect for relaxing and taking in the mountain air. The condo had everything we needed and more. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities. Bedrooms are large and beds were very comfortable. It felt very homey and not like a normal rental. The location is great for day trips to Silverton, Ouray, and Durango. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay for a week in the mountains!

Our son got married at Black Diamond Lodge and the location was perfect - close but not too close. I’ve stayed at several VRBO’s and I’ve never stayed at one as great as this - the owners truly have the guests in mind. Everything you need - games for families. Peaceful. It was absolutely perfect and we weren’t ready to leave. If we’re ever headed back to Durango - this is where we will stay!

Great condo

We loved our stay here. We had 2 adults, 2 kids (5 and 6) and our 12 year old golden. The place was nicely updated, clean and had plenty of amenities that made our stay more enjoyable. This place probably had the best quality amenities (kitchen items, bath items, sleds, ect). It was stocked like you’re staying at a family’s place vs a VRBO.

The Perfect Spot For A Mountain Retreat!

We can't say enough great things about our stay at this perfect mounting retreat! We had two families - seven of us total - that fit perfectly into the bedrooms and didn't even have to use the sofa sleeper downstairs to be comfortable. We loved the layout - bedrooms upstairs with common areas downstairs - and location (less than 5 five minutes to skiing at Purgatory and a number of restaurants, stores, etc.). Finally, it's worth noting the hosts have paid attention to and covered every single detail/amenity across the condo. We've stayed at countless rentals over the years and have to say this one was as nice, clean and accommodating as any! We'll be back.

Immaculate Condo and Perfect Location!

We had an incredible stay and the condo was perfect in every way! This is the cleanest and most well stocked VRBO we have stayed in. Linda and Matt were amazing hosts and made sure everything ran smoothly. The kitchen was modern and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Every small touch was thoughtfully considered throughout the condo. The beds were extremely comfortable which was very much appreciated after hiking each day. The location was perfectly situated, offering easy driving distances between Durango and the mountain towns to the north, including Silverton and Ouray. It made exploring the area a breeze. We would certainly stay here again when we travel back to southern Colorado. My family and I highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Purgatory and the surrounding area!

Great spring break ski vacation!

Family of five including three teenage sons and our old lab. Perfect location (3 min drive to Purgatory) and lots of fun hiking on the property. Very clean, organized and well stocked. Quick and helpful responses to a few questions. Very accommodating and allowed us to check-in early after our long drive. Book it if you can - you'll have a great stay!

Home away from home

Great place to stay. One mile from Purgatory Ski Resort! Angela was very helpful and answered all our questions promptly. We were a family of 7 and had plenty of space. We needed nothing, the house is stocked with everything you can think of.

Great location

Owner was easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. The home was clean and very comfortable. The decor was well done and made the home very inviting. The owner kept everything well stocked ( tissue paper, trash bags, dish soap and laundry detergent) which was well appreciated and made our stay way more relaxed since I didn’t have to worry about running out. Getting to the ski hill was super easy from the home. We love Durango and skiing purgatory
 we would love to stay here again.

Beautifully maintained Condo

This condo was cozy, warm and welcoming for our family of 6. It was well stocked with anything and everything we needed for our three day stay. We enjoiyed our Thanksgiving celebration and did not lack for dinner preparation smallwares and serveware in the amply stocked kitchen. The rooms and bathrrons were very inviting. It was tastefully decorated with fall decor. Our kids enjoyed the sled and we loved the snowshoes provided especially when we got over 18in of snow. We loved this place. Thank you for being such a great host!

Wonderful home, wonderful location

This was my first trip to Durango. I came for a wedding at the Black Diamond lodge. The lodge is adjacent to the property, making the location perfect. The condo was clean, spacious and absolutely adorable. We enjoyed coffee on the back deck as we watched the sun come up over the mountain. Just gorgeous! There were a couple of very minor issues where I needed guidance, and the hosts were great. They were very responsive. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

We were at first a little hesitant because of the rate. But, well worth every cent! The unit is spacious, clean, well furnished and thoughtfully equipped, with practically everything you could need. Weekend ski trip

This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in! Owners were super responsive, and wanted to make sure we had the best time at their home. I can't imagine how our weekend could have been any better, and the kids are spoiled now.

Family Ski Vacation

This is a beautiful property! Very clean, welcoming and tastefully decorated. Loved the location as it was very close to Purgatory Ski Resort, like a 2 minute drive. Very quiet neighborhood and the plow guy kept roads cleared early and every day. My teen daughters loved how well stocked all the games were and the sled! And my pups enjoyed their bedding and treats. Kitchen is well stocked with staple spices and the things you need to cook. It’s close to a small store too. The host, Angela is great at communicating and very prompt with responses to messages . We will definitely stay here again. Loved it!

This place rocks

I’m not exaggerating this is the cleanest and nicest rental through VRBO ever. Everything is super clean and comfortable and convenient. It’s not in town but it’s right next to this king overall five stars and if I could give six I would.

Creating this Dream of our Condo in the aspens has been our biggest adventure to date and we cannot wait to share it with you all!!
