The Sand Bucket is within walking distance to the beach and boardwalk.

Come join us at The Sand Bucket! Located at 405 Fourth Street N in the upper apartment, we have a great location only four blocks to the beach, Carolina Beach’s famous Boardwalk and Britt's donuts. Recently remodeled in 2023, there is a living room, bedroom with queen bed, one bathroom (shower only) and a fully equipped kitchen. There is high speed WiFi and a smart TV. The ground floor utility room houses a washing machine and dryer. The newly landscaped grounds include a patio with gas grill and outdoor shower. We love pets so Fido is welcome. Pet fee is $50/per dog with a 50 pound weight limit and a maximum of two dogs. Bring your boat! There is ample onsite parking for it. Carolina Beach boasts two boat ramps for easily launching your boat for fishing or recreation!

The Sand Bucket was perfect for me, my wife, and our dog. It definitely will suit the needs of most couples. We were less than a ten minute walk from most anything we could want - the beach, the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, restaurants, etc. We loved the fact that it had a small yard for us to step out into with our dog and it was nicely taken care of with a sitting area. The small kitchen an living area were perfect for our needs to relax and wind down in the evening. Communication with property management was excellent as they promptly answered any questions we had and also did us the wonderful favor of shipping a pair of earrings that my wife left. We will stay here again.

Great little spot and yard space for a quick little getaway! Not too far to walk to the beach or restaurants. Quiet and it’s very clean! Definitely recommend to others!

Great place to stay, especially with our dog! The fenced in yard was awesome. Our pup loved having the space to run around. Easy check in & access to the residence. It was in a very nice neighborhood and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The unit offered everything we needed for a great stay!

Perfect MDW!

The Sandbucket is a perfect place for just you and one other! The yard has all been re-done and is extremely nice. About a 10 min walk to all the restaurants, boardwalk and beach! We really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Amazing, dog-friendly stay

We loved our stay at the Sand Bucket! As stated on the listing, it is an upstairs rental and the downstairs is a separate rental with a shared fenced in yard. The first night, nobody was staying downstairs, so it was nice to be able to let our dog out without worrying about that. The second night we introduced ourselves to the downstairs renters who also had a dog and all was fine from there. The VRBO itself was very nice and clean! It was small but perfect for two people (maybe 2 adults and a small child). It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach but was a very quiet neighborhood so we enjoyed that. I would recommend bringing a wagon or something to make carrying stuff to the beach easier. Only negatives were they didn’t provide soap for the shower or a hair dryer so be prepared with those things when you come! Overall it was an amazing stay and we would 100% stay there again!

Distance from beach

Cottage was lovely. Distance to beach was about 1/4 mile. We utilized Golf Cart Taxi service and it was very convenient to get around without searching for expensive parking.

Quiet safe neighborhood- perfect

Perfect for me and my dog. I really enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was. Our family reunion was down there and after long days on the beach and other things we did, perfect to come back relax.

Very clean, well maintained. Kitchen is well equipped. Owners are very thoughtful, supplying items like coffee filters, baggies, hand soap is appreciated. Property is just as described, within walking distance to beach, boardwalk and restaurants.
