A quiet Island neighborhood offering a restful family vacation or an intimate get-a-way minutes from our private gated beautiful sandy beach and parking lot. A peaceful Island large enough to ride bikes or enjoy an evening walk along streets lined with tropical bushes, trees, and gardens. Free Public Electric Shuttle “Circuit-By-The-Sea”. Sea Ranch Village Shopping Center is a short drive with Publix (delivery available), CVS, First Watch restaurant, among other shopping and restaurants. With such close proximity to the beach a car is not an absolute

El Mar Association private club beach with shower and picnic area is a short distance away. Grab the beach cart and towels for a quick few blocks to the beach or if you do not feel like walking, drive your car over to the gated private beach parking lot.

Diving: Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is well known for its living coral reef located just 100 yards offshore as a top shore diving spot. The SS Copenhagen, a 19th-century British steamship that wrecked in May 1900 less than a mile offshore in 25 feet of water is also a favorite; designated by Florida as an Underwater Archaeological Preserve in 1994 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001 (The National Park Service manages the SS Copenhagen).

Lauderdale-By-The-Sea strip has restaurants along the strip and on the beach, is not far from the house, and is always an entertaining day/night out.

Fishing: Anglin’s Pier off the strip offers fishing equipment rentals and bait for sale. Always fun to take a walk on the Pier, walk along the beach, and spend the afternoon/evening at one of the restaurants on the beach or along the strip. The Pier has a nominal entrance fee.

If Rest and relaxation is what you need, make yourself at home in our comfortable and well stocked home. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and make sure that on arrival you will find the house ready with all the basic supply starters. Our well appointed kitchen with wine cooler has all you need to prepare gourmet meals, bake or enjoy grilling rain or shine on our indoor or outdoor grill. The house is well stocked with house linens, beach towels, washer/dryer, beach chairs, lounge chairs, beach cart as well as a comfortable cart to pull little ones, two adult bicycles and a large screened in patio for lounging and dining.

Wonderful 2 week stay! We had 2 adults, 2 kids and our dog! The house was wonderful and the location is perfect. Nestled in a very quiet neighborhood convenient to all kinds of great places to visit and to eat!

Relaxing Getaway

We loved staying at this property! Denise was so nice and accommodating especially for our check-in, she was also very prompt about answering any and all questions we had. The property is beautiful, both indide and out. We loved having all the beach amenities, it made our trips to the beach so much easier! And, we LOVED having the private beach access and being away from the crowds! If we are ever in the Ft. Lauderdale area again we will definitely be booking this home again!

Felt like home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the casa di Luna. Denise and Eric were very hospitable and easy to communicate with. The house was very clean and met all of our needs. Towels, beach chairs, and even bikes were made available to us. The house was located in a great neighborhood steps to the private beach and area restaurants. We really could not have asked for a better vacation home.

Gorgeous Terra Mar

We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. The house was spotless, everything worked and was extremely comfortable. The location itself was perfect for us. A lovely island neighbourhood, very quiet and lovely neighbours. The owners, Denise and Eric responded quickly to any queries and ensured we were happy during our stay. Couldn’t have asked for more. Loved it!

Best location and most amazing villa. A+ 10/10

Villa is exactly how it is described and Denise the hostess is very engaged to accommodate the guests with accuracy and timeliness. The pool is gorgeous and the gardens are spectacular. The area and private access to the beach is so convenient. We did tons of activities such as Jungle Island, Peanut Island and South Beach. We also went to many great restaurants. Love love! Xo

Sanctuary -Terra Mar

This property is a wonderful well cared for home. Completely private pool area with large screened in patio. Various outside seating areas from a dining table and lounge sofa seating. The bedrooms have nice linens and comfy mattresses. Kitchen was perfect and updated. Was convenient to walk to the beach with beach wagon and nice chairs. 2 coolers, 2 bikes, etc. Sad to leave such a pleasant home for our girls trip! Denise was a great host and A+ communication.

Great house and great beach

We have been staying at VRBOs in the area for the last 5 years and this one was by far the best. The kitchen had all that we needed to cook our meals and the appliances were in good shape. The house was spotless when we arrived and had all the amenities we needed, including toilet paper! The beach equipment was relatively new and in great working order as were the two bikes. We loved the private beach which we had mostly to ourselves during the week. Denise was a pleasure to work with and checked in periodically with us; she is terrific! We hope to stay here next year and can't say enough good things about our experience.

Private Oasis that is Close to Everything!

You will not find a more manicured private oasis to relax and enjoy the South Florida sun. The move is well appointed and the backyard private pool is amazing. The beautiful landscaping makes you think you are in your own private compound. The home had everything we needed including some of the best chips and salsa we have ever eaten. We bought more because it was delicious! Night life was a quick Uber ride away and was conveniently located near many nice restaurants. You can't say enough good things about Denise and the care taken to make sure everything was available for our stay. We had the best time and would highly recommend it for family or friends going on vacation.

Best Ever

We can truly say that this is the best rental property we have ever experienced, not only VRBO but the rest of the rental sites as well. We were there for two months to get away from the cold northern winter. The quality and cleanliness of the home, the location and private parking for access to the beach, well-stocked kitchen with all the accessories and utensils you could imagine. The pool was great, the beds perfect, the laundry room brand new, two bikes, and new beach and pool stuff. Enough said, just couldn't have been happier, we've already scheduled for January and February 2024 before anyone else could get it. Highly recommended!

Perfect getaway

The property is surrounded by dense vegetation, which can make it look a little forbidding if you drive in after dark. You come to appreciate it when you stay. The foliage provides a perfect privacy screen. Once inside, the decor is open, airy, and bright. It's well furnished with pretty much any amenity you could wish for. The host/hostess were amazingly helpful (we traveled primarily to attend a funeral, and stayed a while after). They responded quickly to any issue we had and addressed every concern. We were frankly a little hesitant to rent a privately owned home, but the property was ideal for anybody wanting quiet, privacy, a lovely place to stay, and easy access to a pool and beach. And Denise was wonderful. I can't express how happy we are with the choice of this property. Big five stars. We'd give it more if we could.

Excellent beach vacation!

This is a fantastic home in a quiet community which is a short 5 minute walk from the beach! House has its own pool too. Home is extremely well stocked with every thing you need, including beach towels, chairs, umbrellas etc for the beach. Home has TVs in all rooms with full cable channel lineup. Fast wifi too. Home is clean and neat. Very strong AC system. The best part of this home is the private gated beach access that comes with the house. If you don’t want to walk to the beach you can drive because there is a parking lot at the private access point as well. Driving would take you 60 seconds door to door by the way. Property owner is extremely helpful and responsive. Pompano Beach is a short drive north with restaurants. Lauderdale by the Sea is a short drive south with restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay! You can’t go wrong with this home.

Séjour parfait!

Séjour de 4 semaines où nous avons accueilli à tour de rôle la famille de nos filles, 2 semaines chacune. Nous étions parfois 2, 5 et 8 personnes à la fois, incluant 2 enfants de 2 ans. La maison a toujours répondu aux attentes, piscine et jardin merveilleux. Proximité de la plage un gros plus, équipement de plage complet! Finalement Denise notre hôte a été parfaite, facile à joindre et rapide à répondre à nos petites demandes spéciales surtout pour les petits. Nous y retournerons c’est certain!

Christmas at the Beach!

The property was just as described and portrayed in the ad/photos. Very clean house, beautifully updated and appointed. Owners have provided everything necessary for and enjoying the area and beach! Private parking lot for beach is very nice! Denise was outstanding in answering questions and always prompt in responding. Overall outstanding experience. Highly recommend this property.
