Casita Rio: Private Riverside Retreat w/ Hot Tub

Relax & unwind at this adorable artist studio located on the banks of the San Miguel River! Located in a stunning river valley & surrounded by ample open space, this mountain retreat provides guests with an idylic basecamp from which to enjoy endless adventures. With easy & quick access to downtown Telluride, guests can enjoy festivals, dining & the mountain-town scene or just as easily explore lesser-known trails and locations within the region but end each day "soaking" in solitude & nature.

THE SPACE:
The "Casita Rio" is an adorable artist's cabin perched on the banks of the San Miguel River. Enjoy a private riverside setting with a secluded deck, personal BBQ and hot tub from which to take in the sound of flowing water. Guests at the Casita Rio have a private driveway and will have exclusive access to all exterior spaces while in residence. The home has a full kitchen (no oven), a wood stove, full bath, dinign area and a private bedroom with a double bed. There is a also a loft in the living room that has a twin bed. Guests have private parking and access to the ample outdoor seating spaces that exist on the property.

GUEST ACCESS:
There is a main house on the propety that is occupied at times by the owners. However, they give guests full and private access to the hot tub and all outdoor spaces when the casita is occupied. Guests also have a private driveway and parking area.

We also offer a private shuttle service for our guests and information on this will be sent to you in your booking confirmation.

Beautiful Home

Arriving to this location, it was magical. It was snowing and just looking at the river run was breath taking. I encourage everyone who’s going to a family trip to relax and enjoy the good vibes to check this place out. It was amazing, thank you for letting us stay.

Cutest House!

We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our visit at La Casita. The house was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The wine, snacks and drinks in the fridge were such a nice touch. We slept great in the comfy bed and I especially loved sitting in the hot tub under the stars. We would definitely love to visit again.

Cozy fall getaway!

Leaf popping views all around. Wanted to see the aspens changing and this location was the perfect base camp between Telluride and Ouray. I loved the style of the property though the bathroom was a little tight. Very warm and welcoming! There was even a sign addressed personally to me welcoming me to the Casita Rio with a bottle of wine and cold beers! The hot tub was relaxing and the stars were amazing! Just be sure to turn off all the lights to get the full effect. I highly recommend the free Gandala ride to mountain village in Telluride the views are beautiful! Bridal Veil falls also very beautiful!

Quiet get-a-way

Casito Rio was a perfect spot for our kid-free vacation! It was a great location to explore Telluride, Mountain Village, Ridgway and Ouray. The house was so relaxing by the creek with lots of outdoor seating areas; fireside seating, hammock, dinner table on the deck, little breakfast table as well and a hot tub. It was exactly what we wanted even an espresso machine and a library! Couldn't have found a better spot!

Extremely clean & neat. Easy access. Great bed, although, I think a double vs. a queen. Bath is very small, but nice. Towels are aewsome. I would prefer to have a TV. Listening to the river is always nice & relaxing. Overall, very pleased we stayed. We enjoyed it alot.

Fantastic cabin getaway!

Casita Rio is an awesome place to stay! The cabin is just as pictured and was ideal. Close to Telluride with a cabin in the woods feel. Hosts were wonderful.
