Island life!!!
Ever wanted to stay on an island? Now is your chance. Close to Chicago and Rockford but youâll feel like youâre in a far away land.
We have updated the cabin so no roughing it here, wifi for those tv nights, updated bathroom and a modern kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of TVs, a vinyl player, a stereo system.
There are two houses on the island however one is under renovation so youâll be renting the newly renovated one that we just finished June 2022. Everything is brand new. Ready for renting. The smaller house will not be ready for rental at this time. You will still get the whole island to yourself.
Youâll have the whole island (5 acres) to yourself. You can play music as loud as you want (we have an extremely loud sound system)
We have a 2 person Kayak, paddleboarded, an inflatable boat that seats 4 adults, lots of river floats, fishing rods, lots of board games, two grills and a smoker. Youâll never be bored on this island.
Our boat driver will drop you off and pick you up. If you need boat service too and from the island throughout the trip that can also be arranged.
We have a John boat you can use the entire trip included in the stay
