Lake & Mountain Home - Walking distance to Sunapee Harbor

This bright and sunny vacation home is perfect for hosting families and friends throughout the year. All furnishings new in 2022 and the location is a 1/4 mile to Sunapee Harbor. The house includes an open first floor (kitchen/dining room/living room) with a deck overlooking the back yard. Additionally, the totally renovated walk out basement has a large living room and game area so your group has plenty of space to spread out.

You'll have passes to the local town beach, which has concessions, a playground, basketball court and paddleboards amd kayaks to sign out for free. Picnic tables, lounge chairs and umbrellas are also available at no cost.

1/4 mile to Sunapee Harbor - evening band concerts, summer outdoor movies, dinner boat cruise, ice cream and local shops

5 miles to Mount Sunapee - ski in the winter and Adventure Park in the summer with a ropes course and mountain biking

10 miles to New London - shopping, restaurants, summer playhouse & Colby-Sawyer College

29 miles to Hanover - Dartmouth College, shops & restaurants

All trash/recycling needs to be taken to the Sunapee transfer station upon departure (89 Avery Road, 1.5 miles away). Need the beach/transfer pass.
Bring own towels/washcloths. Please strip all beds that were slept in and put sheets in laundry room. Start initial load to expedite turnover.
Lock all windows and doors prior to departure, and lower window shades in all rooms.

Fantastic place for a family ski trip to Mount Sunapee. The house was in great condition, the owner was very responsive, and the kids had a blast with the basement games. Snow removal was done very quickly after the storm, which we really appreciated. The garage was definitely a plus during winter time. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay! The host was extremely kind and provided all the necessary information promptly, which made everything very smooth. We are a family of six, and the size of the house was absolutely perfect for us. It’s an ideal place for a memorable family ski vacation—we stayed just before Christmas and loved it.The ski resort is only about 9 minutes away, which was very convenient. The house is located in a quiet, calm area and has a great family room with fun entertainment options, including a small pool table convertible to air hockey, ping pong, and several board games. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you could need—nothing was missing. And last but not least, the entire house was spotless. We would happily stay here again!

Room to spare!!

Wonderful location close to town - 4 friends - we each had our own rooms and 2 girls shared a bathroom and the other 2 had their own. Kitchen well stocked and the host was great! We fell in love with sunapee !!!

Gary is very responsive in a timely manner. Beautiful area. House is in good shape, lots of room to sit and hang out. Nice well stocked kitchen. Annoying that there are no towels and that you have to drive your garbage to the dumpster which isn’t open every day of the week.

Very Convenient To The Mountain!

This is a lovely property - we have stayed here multiple times and will be back. The house is spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, and Mt. Sunapee is only about 7 mins from the house - so perfect for skiers. My kids also LOVE the pool/ping pong table in the basement. Bonus points for super responsive host!

Magical spot

We had a wonderful stay while we were in town for my niece’s wedding! Beautiful and quiet location just perfect for our needs! Lots of room, fully stocked kitchen and ver comfortable. Wonderful Ski House!

This is our second stay at this property and we love it! The house was pristine when we arrived and the check in process was easy. The house is only about 10 minutes from Mt. Sunapee - so it is a great choice for a ski weekend. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the basement game room was a huge hit with my kids! We will definitely stay at this property again.

Location was great & property came with a beach pass that was really close & with 9 year old twins it was perfect. All families. Our only negative was it was really hot & there is an a/c unit in kitchen with an open floor plan which was cool but bedrooms were too hot which is why they had fans in the rooms. Some had to sleep in lower level to stay cool. We saw a deer & baby right there & a beaver....beautiful.

Hideaway gem

Wonderful stay at this pristine home in Lake Sunapee. Quarter mile walk to lake was perfect, but but the layout of the home was what made it fun! Enough space for all and and 3 bathrooms is rare! We’ll be back!

Wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful time staying here- stayed for one week. It's very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Nightly pool and ping pong tournaments were so much fun. Conveniently located- we had the full New England experience. Owner was always readily available. We would absolutely stay here again.

As a family we have rented many houses over the years. This was rated as one of our all time favorites! Great layout, fully stocked kitchen, very clean. Walk to the playground too. Thoroughly enjoyable time.

This second home is for our family to enjoy on school breaks and holidays, and the Sunapee area is near and dear to our hearts every season of the year! We love skiing and snowshoeing in winter, lake and beach fun in the summer, and hiking year round.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The location is ideal, just steps to Sunapee Harbor, Tilton Park, and the SRKG trails. There is ample space upstairs and down for everyone to spread out, with a fully outfitted kitchen to prepare meals. Entertaining indoors or outside is no problem either, with ample seating for guests. You are also only a short drive to the mountain, as well as all of the surrounding activities and outdoors.
