Welcome to Villa Catalina, a beautiful, newly refurbished beach house with pool, just steps from Isla Verde Beach, selected by USA Today in 2016 as one of the best Urban beaches in the world.

(THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA, CLOSE TO OTHER HOMES.

SORRY, NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED.

NO MUSIC OR OUTSIDE LOUD NOISE PERMITTED AT NIGHT.)

The villa may accommodate a total of up to 14 persons in six bedrooms and 4 full baths- 9 beds, 5 queen, 4 bunk beds.

It is in a perfect location due to;

1 proximity to the beach, only 1 minute walk.

2 proximity to restaurants, hotels, night life, bars, grocery store, pharmacy and shops, all within couple minutes walking distance.

3 10 min drive to any major attraction in San Juan such as Old San Juan, Condado and La Placita de Santurce.

The villa is fully ac'd, has good wifi, and cable tv.

It also has a pool, power generator and water cistern.

The house is centrally located from the airport, restaurants and the grocery store. Beach was close. House was very clean and offered spacious bedrooms, kitchen and living areas. Will diffently visit again. Thank you to the host and Ruben for being so accommodating to my family!

Our family of 12 stayed here and had an amazing time! The house is even better in person. The outdoor space was so nice for early morning coffee, dinners, and game nights. The kitchen was very well equipped, water hot and beds comfortable. The amazing beach is only 4 minutes away. The grocery store is very convenient as well. Highly recommend! Rubin is very responsive to any needs/ concerns.

Host was amazing and attentive. Anything we needed - it was offered. I locked ourselves out first day - host was on it for us immediately. There were plenty of beach towels and beach chairs for all the guests - we loved being able to take a brief walk to access a couple of beach views. We also enjoyed being less than a block to multiple breakfast options each morning. The house is in excellent condition - but bring bug spray as thats just normal in this part of PR. We washed lots of clothes and towels in the provided washer/dryer in the garage. We loved our stay - I only wish the grocery store might have been within walking distance but we had a car [from the sixt less than a block away] and the grocery store was only 3-5 minutes by car. On one day of our stay we drove just a mere 7 miles away and explored a number of unique beaches and small roadside food stands on the way back to the house. Old San Juan was always just 10 minutes away by car to explore night life and unique food options. There is much to offer but you probably need to have a rental care to explore it all.

Backyard oasis

This house is beautiful and suited our needs perfectly. We had four couples staying here and there was plenty of room for everyone. From a mainland American perspective, the neighborhood is not very scenic, but it is close to two amazing beaches and many restaurants/bars. Despite being in an urban setting, the backyard is a tropical oasis. It had a lot of vegetation including a mango tree and a flamboyant tree. The coquis and other animals gave a good chorus. The pool and patio were perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed watching the planes take off at the beach but the engine noise is definitely in range at the house.

Perfect house for big groups

Our family of 13 fit easily in this house and 4 bathrooms were very useful. The walk to the beach was just minutes away. There were beach chairs available for our use but we found it easier to rent big chairs and umbrellas on the beach very cheaply. The pool and backyard were wonderful and getting around by Uber worked great. I would highly recommend this house but would suggest replacing the shampoo dispensers in the showers as they are rusting so we used our own shampoo.

The house is better in real life than in the photos!

The house looks great online, but it's even better in person! The owner was very responsive via email, and property manager Ruben was very responsive via text. Ruben let us check-in early, met us at the property, and showed us around the property. There were eight adults, and we fit very comfortably in the house. The backyard is very big, with several places to sit and with a nice pool. The house is a couple blocks from Isla Verde Beach on one side and Avenida Isla Verde on the other side. This was the first time for most of us to Puerto Rico, and we have done dozens of trips together. We all agreed that this is the nicest house we've ever shared. It has easy access to the beach, food, and casinos and with quick access to the freeways via Uber. We highly recommend this house!

Amazing house

We had the best stay! The house was clean and modern. Ruben (the property manager) was responsive and gave us great suggestions. Great location and walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The AC worked great! All appliances worked perfectly! It was the best vacation ever

Perfect house for a 12-girl bachelorette. The outdoor area is even better than the photos show!!! It’s actually so beautiful. Be aware that the room that says “4 bunks” is 2 bunks and then 2 mattresses that kinda roll out onto the floor. They were clean and everything but just a heads up for planning purposes.The hosts were responsive, organized, and friendly. We felt very safe and secure in a great neighborhood with easy Ubering to nightlife for like 4, and it was a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach! You also can’t beat the pool in the backyard which was hard for us to find so close to the beach.If you’re thinking of booking this, do it.

Ample room for our party of 6. Kitchen well stocked. Location to beach excellent. Walkable to several nice restaurants as well as a market.We arrived during island power black out. No problem! House has a generator. Highly recommend staying here. We would return.

overall nice property, spacious, well equipped, good vibe, outdoor area was especially roomy and pleasant, and we felt safe. Minor areas for improvement would be more parking (currently only for 2 cars), a couple beach chairs are broken, mosquitos outside and inside but that seems to be everywhere.

Amazing!

This property is amazing! We had 14 people stay (7 adults and 7 kids) and we were never cramped. The open living room, kitchen, dining area was a great place to hang out, but then we could escape to our room for privacy. The pool area was very nice and the kids lived in the pool. The house is 3 blocks from a beautiful beach which was an easy walk. They provided beach chairs but you can also rent chairs and umbrellas right at the beach. If we return to San Juan, we will book again!

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our family. The location was very good. We enjoyed going to the beaches in the morning and playing in the pool after nap time. The littles loved the space and the swing chairs and hammock. The kitchen had all appliances, even an espresso machine, which my kids loved. Loved having a washer/dryer that worked. The restaurants around the area were all very good. One thing I would suggest is a wagon to carry chairs/toys to the beach. There are also two pack and plays in the house. I wish we had known that beforehand. We rented one, which we didnt use. Its a wonderful home for a large family. Thanks for a great week.
