This was a wonderful place to stay for our group of 9 people. Its location was perfect for exploring Old San Juan. The house had a lot of charm and nice amenities. The rooftop terrace was very enjoyable. The host was very attentive and reached out to ensure everything was going smoothly, as well as offered us helpful information regarding our time in the city.

Family of 7: 4 adult children and 1 teen with parents. Perfect! Patios were great for playing cards and space accommodated us all very well. Centrally located in Old San Juan too. Enjoyed it!

Our Host was great to work with and have nothing but great reviews for Angelo. Whenever I sent a message he was quick to respond. He even sent us info on places to visit while we were there. Our house that we stayed at was beautiful and we loved the views from the Rooftop Patio. The only negative was that if you can't do stairs this isn't the place for you. Rooftop was on the 4th floor and quite the climb, but the views were awesome when there! Thanks Angelo for helping make our stay in San Juan a great one.

We do provide a wonderful home for our guests. The home is so wonderful that we get 5 stars all the time.
This guest loved the home and our service but was short of giving us 5 star because of the staircases leading to the upper floors.
That is not fair to ding us for the stairs. All the homes in Old San Juan have stairs like most townhomes in America.

Our stay at the property itself was generally fine, but the post-checkout experience was extremely disappointing.After checkout, our group was accused of damaging framed artwork in the home and charged 1,500. We requested supporting documentation, including photos, repair estimates, and clarification regarding the value of the item, but did not feel the process was handled clearly or professionally.None of the guests in our group were aware of any damage occurring during the stay, and there were no parties or unusual activity at the property. Communication with the property manager became uncomfortable enough that I requested all further communication be handled in writing.We also contacted VRBO customer support multiple times seeking assistance and clarification, but ultimately felt there was little meaningful resolution provided through the platform.In the end, we paid the charge in order to close the matter and move on. Based on this experience, I would not stay at this property again.

I think it is important to clarify this guest's review and statement. Clearly there was extensive damage to painting that hung on the 1st floor. Perhaps, the primary guest was unaware of the damage and quite possibly one of his guests lied to him about the damage that was done to the painting.
We would never make such a big deal about the damage except that the painting is an expensive piece, and it was damaged by someone in this group.
We did provide multiple pictures to this guest and provided sufficient information as to the extent of the damage.
To date, this has been the only guest we would never invite back to Casa Sol n Luna.
I am happy to say that nearly 99% of our guests have been wonderful guests that have treated our home with much respect and carefulness.
We will not allow this guest to dishonor the wonderful reputation that we built over the past few years.
