Over all great stay. Labor Day weekend and Labor Day Mackinaw Bridge walk and we were happy to have booked here. The host was amazing and responsive which is appreciated.

This little cottage was such a cute place, absolutely an up North feel to it. Plenty of space for two to four guests. The owner was prompt with answering any questions and its location was ideal for what we had planned. Loved the stay.

Peaceful location, convenient to town and to local beach, as well as being a short drive from Burt Lake state park. It is also within easy driving distance of Cheyboygan, Petosky, and Mackinaw City, and other northern Michigan parks and attractions. The only minus is a lack of air conditioning, although fans are available. The host responded promptly to any issues we had.

We had a great stay in Indian River! The cottage is close to everything, so the kids could walk to the beach or to get ice cream and I never worried once. The property is clean and everything was so simple. Communication with the team was fast and great - this is small town life at its best, and it was so lovely to reset and enjoy our time together. Family reunion

Great location

The cottage wasn't anything special, but it was clean, comfortable and a great location. Walking distance to the beach and to ice cream, restaurants and other stores. Plus it was less than a block from the North Central Bike Trail and only a few miles from several other trails, if you want to do some biking or hiking. Also close to Big Bear Adventures if you want to tube or kayak.

Location is great to I 75, walking to beach and main street. An older home with a few quirks but updated living area and bathroom Kitchen lacked toaster and pots but had great gas stove.

The property was as described and cute, cozy, and clean. Walkable distance from town and the river. More sofa seating in the living room would have been appreciated but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Cute and Clean!!

Adorable cottage, very homey, nice owners. Clean and neat. Short walk from the main drag of Indian River, which is a very cute little place with shops and restaurants and pretty gardens everywhere. Twin beds were very comfortable, and my 6’4” son was fine on the fold out couch in the living room. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Indian River Labor Day 2022

This was a terrific house right in Indian River. Very close to downtown and Burt Lake. The property was clean and well kept. Communication was very smooth throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rental in the area.

A Nice Place to Stay, Central Located to Many Things

We had a good stay, the place was clean and in a very safe neighborhood. It was located centrally between many things that we wanted to do. Two down sides, there was no air conditioning and I went back and looked and didn't see that listed. It was a little too warm for my liking and I had trouble sleeping. And although it was decorated nicely there wasn't enough comfortable seating for 4 adults to sit and enjoy a movie.

Great location for all types of activities. Cute/clean house but would have been nice if there was some outdoor sitting or a better indoor sitting area. Went with family and was challenging to sit somewhere to talk with each other.

Adorable cottage home!

This place is great! Everything was clean and cute. I was a little worried because there were no pics of the bathroom, but it was beautifully updated. The only downfall were the mattresses. They were a little on the uncomfortable side, and the biggest bed was only a full size. But everything else was just what we were looking for. Will definitely book this place again!!

We love Artesian Cottage - Indian River!!

Our stay at the Artesian Cottage, hosted by pine cone accommodations was absolutely phenomenal. You can't beat the location for safety or convenience, everything is right there. We did have one minor inconvenience while we were there, and Sandy, the property manager, was an absolute dream and she and a coworker drove up to address our concern in person, after business hours, just to make sure we were taking care of. There was an issue with one of the beds , and they offered to replace the mattress the same day, without question. This was incredible and we recommend this property to anybody. Thank you so much Sandy and the Pine Cone Team!

Oh Well

Property was not accurately identified on original listing. Double mattress in 1 bedroom was terrible and unusable. When I called to discuss with owner, she immediately became defensive. While she offered to replace the mattress, the tone of the discussion was not customer friendly. We decided to move on and spent only 1 night of a 3-night stay. We still paid for the 3 nights... Oh well!
