(Comfortably sleeps a party of 2.) NEW Cal King bed July 4, 2025 KingsDown Deansgate firm pillowtop mattress. Top of the line "premium construction" provides the best support and sleeping comfort! Copper infused memory foam with gel memory foam and tencel cover woven with fibers from the eucalyptus tree and backed by a silk and wool fiber blend. 5-zone coil with dual coil edge support.

This 2nd floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. The new homeowner Kathy McCartney is an Hawaii artist and has her tropical work on display. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!

Unit #249 is a 2nd floor, direct oceanfront unit! It offers direct views of the Pacific and is in a great location in the complex. Wake up to the most beautiful sunrises and some early evenings catch a romantic orange moonrise. Enjoy the sounds of the surf right outside your slider door. Not a bad place to sit back, relax on the lanai, and drink your morning coffee! January 2026 the owner purchased NEW tall table and tall chairs so you can see the beautiful views over the lanai railing.

Enjoy the many unique features and amenities of Unit 249. You will delight in the ambiance of this tastefully decorated unit with its tropical touches, and that special feeling of island hospitality called aloha! Spend carefree days exploring the mystical and magical Island of Kaua'i. Dine at one of our recommended establishments or take in the fabulous lu'au at Kilohana Plantation, and every night you will return to the serenity of 249 and be lulled to sleep by the soothing tone of the surf. You can enjoy poolside BBQs and a lovely lanai overlooking the water.

For your convenience, #249 includes: January 2026 NEW high efficiency Fujitsu A/C and ceiling fan; free WiFi with wireless router; large flat screen mounted Smart TV; microwave; coffee maker; December 2025 NEW fridge and freezer that holds plenty of food (there are two ice makers on property); all necessary kitchen utensils; all necessary linens (bath, kitchen, and beach towels); iron and ironing board; hot tub (shared) and pool (shared).

Please note there are no elevators on property. Free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. It's beautifully situated on its own private Waipouli Beach. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei, 45 minutes to Poipu, and 6 minutes to the east entrance of Sleeping Dragon (Nounou Mountain) trail. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.

Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

Other Important Notes:
* Non-smoking in the condo, including lanai and hallways. A $500 fine + damage costs if violated. A designated outdoor smoking area is available.
* A $25 fee applies if more than 2 garbage bags are left behind. Additional cleaning or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in extra charges.
* A $200 fee will be charged for the replacement of a lost key.
* Unauthorized early check-in or late check-out may incur an additional night's charge.

I loved my one week stay, although it was not long enough. The bike path, nearby restaurants within walking distance, and the view from the lanai were superb. The bed was sheer heaven, and as always, the sound of the ocean right outside was so relaxing and therapeutic. The room was clean and all was so lovely that I did not want to leave and cannot wait to come back!

Little slice of paradise

Aloha, if your looking for a wonderful island experience than I highly recommend checking out this amazing location. The room overlooks the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Just steps away from a pristine sandy beach. Cool ocean breezes. Wake to crashing waves and gorgeous sunrises. Looking forward to heading back there someday soon. Until then, enjoy this peaceful serenity.

Beautiful view

The place was in a fantastic location. Condo was clean the grounds were decorated with lots of plants. The rooms fan had a problem but they had air conditioning so it wasn't a problem to stay cool at night.

Pictures are not reality

The small studio was even more crowded by a portable air conditioner in front of the sliding door with a makeshift board stuck in door for the vents. Loud and large. Nit mentioned in description. Too many emails with conflicting instructions. Request for early check in completely ignored.

Our intention was to ensure your comfort while the main split AC unit was awaiting a part for repair. Unfortunately, due to the remote location of Kaua'i, shipping times for parts can be lengthy. We apologize for any discomfort you experienced as a result of these unforeseen circumstances. We will reach out to you directly to better understand your concerns regarding conflicting instructions. Our records indicate that you should have received only one email from us containing check-in and unit information. Regarding your request for an early check-in, did you notify us in advance? We always encourage guests to provide advance notice for early check-in requests. We couldn't find any correspondence from you requesting an early check-in, which suggests that we might not have received it. However, upon reviewing the calendar, we see that there was a back-to-back check-in scheduled in the unit on the 6th, the day of your arrival. This would have made it challenging for us to accommodate an early check-in, but we apologize if this was not communicated clearly in the event that your text or email was received.
