Our recently remodeled 1 bed, 1 bath home is located on the second floor, so you’ll enjoy more privacy in your home-away-from-home. Being in the corner also gives us breath-taking views of the Pacific Ocean. During whale season, you’ll also see whales breaching from the lanai!

Our home has been completely remodeled as of 10/2021. Enjoy a modern home with Hawaiian flare as you melt the days away in paradise. The fully-equipped kitchen shines with quartz countertops and new stainless steel appliances. Traveling with other guests? The queen sleeper sofa and dual-sink marble vanity in the bathroom is perfect for sharing.

Enjoy the island sun but ready to cool down? Our home also has AC to keep you chill during your stay.*

Pono Kai Resort’s luscious 12-acre landscaping is picture-perfect with meticulously manicured grounds and koi pond. Do you enjoy lounging on the lanai, but would like other activities as well? The resort offers plenty of amenities including shuffleboard, tennis courts, swimming pools, BBQ grills and more! Be prepared to relax in paradise while also having access to a variety of activities right outside your door.

Pono Kai Resort is also located right on the walking/bike path, Ke Ala Hele Makalae (“The Path that Goes by the Cost”). The trail leads from Nawiliwili to Anahola. You’ll find eclectic shops and wonderful eateries along this path – within walking distance from the resort!

Our stay at this Vrbo was fantastic. The location couldn’t have been better — having the beach right in front of the property made it incredibly easy to enjoy the ocean every day. We also loved how many great restaurants were within walking distance, which made meals simple and fun. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions or needs we had, and their communication made the stay even smoother. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area.

A perfect place to hang out in Kauai for a long weekend. The views directly from the unit/balcony are direct ocean and cannot be beat. There is a great walking trail behind the condos and direct beach access. We ended walking to bakeries/coffee places in the morning and even some local dinner spots. There is a supermarket 2 minutes away as well. Very centrally located unit to airport, Princeville, Hanalei, and the southern parts of the island. We also just enjoyed the resort too- nice pool, big spa, lots of games for the kids to play, and places to explore. Unit came with some boogie boards, snorkel/fins, beach chairs, and pool/beach towels. This unit has a bedroom with a door and a pull-out couch in the living room (bring a sleeping eye mask). We would love to visit again!

Our second year staying at this wonderful condo. Stephanie and Steven could not have been nicer hosts. The condo is in a great location within walking distance from many shops and restaurants about 20 feet from the ocean! It is also well maintained and beautifully appointed. We had an unusual weather pattern on last few days and they allowed us to stay one more night for the storm to clear.

This unit was absolutely lovely. I’m familiar with Pono Kai, so I appreciated that part, but Stephanie and Steven have done a stellar job renovating this unit to make it bright and cheerful — and making sure their guests would be comfortable and have things they’d need (beach toys, chairs, umbrella, etc).

Our love for Hawaii has always been something Steven and I have shared. We both grew up enjoying all of the sites, flavors and culture of Hawaii with our families, and now that we have a family of our own, we wanted to share our love of the Aloha spirit with our daughter and baby on-the-way. We can’t wait to watch them fall in love with the islands as much as we have.
