1 bedroom motorcycle themed apartment with city style roof top patio. Located above a motorcycle shop gives it that industrial feel. 3 min walk north is the best dispensary (Doobie Sisters) in town, 3 min walk to the south is the infamous Angles End Zone Sports Bar. Less than one mile to downtown Cortez with plenty of restaurants.

This is an upstairs apartment so there is one flight of stairs to enter. Also this unit is next to a highway and above a motorcycle shop. There will be some noise during the day and slight road noise at night.

Fully equipped space with coffee maker and coffee in hand. Giant bean bag was super comfortable and fun. Very unique space, well decorated with a motorcycle theme above a motorcycle shop. Very cool and very well done. Very comfortable, great space. Would love to visit again if we plan another trip to that area.

Cool place above a motorcycle shop. We stayed over a weekend so there weren’t any issues with sound or traffic. Would definitely stay again.

The Chrome Condo was excellent! Everything we needed was there. Much attention to detail was put into the aesthetic and functionality. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The Penthouse is a wonderful place to stay, located near restaurants and shops. A very comfortable apartment, very clean. The high light for my husband was the big tv and speakers to watch the ball game. The place hace all of the amenities you will need during your visit. The top roof patio with a fireplace and grill. A wonderful space to enjoy the fresh night air.

I liked the place but my sister who had both hips replaced struggled with the narrow stairs possibly hand rails would be helpful.

As advertised

I expected to see the mountains but the location is not the best for that. Everything is as advertised, from the street noise to the no-door in the bathroom but this is a great place to stay for a couple or 3 people and close to Mesa Verde. Great restaurants around as well

Perfect Single Night Location

I booked the roof-top location for a single night following a long day of road travel. Perfect spot close to downtown Cortez for groceries and restaurants. The Harley Davidson decor was perfect for an above a motorcycle shop location.The owner communicated very quickly and well with questions I had. He offered local restaurant endorsements on request! The unit is super clean and well appointed for multi-night stays. Weather at the time prevented enjoying the roof-top patio.I look forward to staying here again on my next adventure through Cortez!Thank You!

Good stay for national park visit

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here while visiting Mesa Verde national park. The bed was very comfy and lots of kitchen/ living room space. The host was very nice and responsive. It is above a custom motorcycle garage, but we never saw anyone as we were gone during the day. Could have more privacy when showering (just need to be mindful if you are visiting with a family as there is no bathroom door) and a larger kitchen table.

Great stay

Host was great. Everything you need is only a few minutes away and less than an hour from Durango. I would definitely do it again if I'm in the area.

Wonderful stay!

I enjoyed my time in the chrome Condo and in Cortez! The outdoor deck was so nice and I enjoyed using the Traeger grill. The road noise could be quite loud for those accustomed to a very, very quiet location. I had a fan for the bedroom and wasn’t bothered even though I live in a remote, quiet location. I happily spent most of my time on the well-appointed deck! If you are planning to cook, you might need to check out the local thrift store for additional cookware (no saucepan or spices, for example). The basics are supplied. Hoping to stay here again & recommend it!

Stylish and Spacious stay

What a great set up at the Chrome Condo in Cortez! My boyfriend and I spent a night there on NYE and had a blast! Very modern and has all the amenities one could need! Super comfy bed and great location! Highly recommend!!

Great place in Cortez

The ‘chrome condo’ was a great place to stay in Cortez. We spent our days hiking and the condo was a clean, comfy place to spend the evening. Close to downtown restaurants. Will stay again if we are in the area.

Chrome Dome

The property is just as described. Cool vibes all around. Everything worked as expected with the exception of the fireplace. Dividing the space between the shower and water closet is only a curtain. Short drive from Mesa Verde. Nothing negative about the property but there were not many dining options that would deliver and then when we went out on the town of Cortez to eat, it took a looooong time to order and get food. Probably our bad choice of restaurant.

Don't let the exterior fool you!

As you approach this place, you may think "What is this? It looks like a shuttered motorcycle business in a plain brick building in a business district." Imagine your surprise when you go up the stairs and take in this beautiful, up to date, clean living space! It's like a studio apartment that has been creatively decorated and designed. So unusual and fun. Very comfortable. Close to nice nature preserve for hikes and bird watching, as well as to downtown Cortez with tons of great options for dining, brew pubs and various amenities. We really enjoyed our stay!
