This is a newly remodeled one bedroom beach cottage located in beautiful Carrabelle Beach Florida just walking distance to the beach.
This little one bedroom beach bungalow offers a 1 queen bed in one room with its own full bath and tv . There are a set of bunkbeds in the hallway leading out to the back patio with its own full bath. The living room offers a large couch,TV, full kitchen and dining. There is a nice large screened back patio for cocktails and hanging out and relaxing also a large outside upper deck with views of the ocean and ample parking for numerous cars, boats and campers.

We had a great time at the Pelican Post. Paul is a great host. Upon arrival we had a full basket of cold wine, beer, etc. We love everything about the beach house. Anything you can think of you need Paul did provide. We loved sitting in the screened porch & watching all the turtles. Thanks again Paul, hope to return.

Excellent Stay

Place was very clean, had every amenity you could possibly need for a beach getaway, and is a 26 second drive to a mostly private beach. Owner checked in frequently and was very easy to work with.

Perfect Vacation Spot

Beautifully decorated beach house with all of the amenities! We stayed 7 days at The Pelican Post and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the thoughtful gift basket to the awesome upper deck, we enjoyed every minute of it! The house was immaculate and had everything...including some of the things that we forgot to bring! 😁This was one of the best vacations that we have had in the area. Thanks for sharing your house Paul! We will be back soon! This one gets out highest rating...private and yet close to the beach..A+++++

Excellent Place to Stay

This is our second time staying here and we will be back for a third for sure! Paul is the best host and his house is perfect. It is always super clean and has everything that you need. The beach is just a short walk (a few houses down and over the sand dunes) away and the perfect secluded location. Thanks Paul for another perfect getaway!! Cant wait until next time!

Perfect Get-away

This place is amazing! Paul is without a doubt the best VRBO host that we have had. We felt like we could have called him at any time, but we didn't need to because everything at the house was so perfect!

Nice Cottage

Pelican Post was very nice, clean, well stocked and private. Nice to have the screen porch (the little bugs were pretty bad in the shade and at night). A plus was the upper deck to sit out on. Nice to have the washer and dryer and even laundry detergent! Paul always answered our texts right away and was very accommodating. Carrabelle was a little smaller than we expected, but still pleasant.

Beach Vacation

The home was perfect for us. Paul was a great host and answered all questions very quickly. Unfortunately the weather was not good the entire week and it wasn't as dog friendly as I hoped. The beach was very dog friendly , but too many off leash. We went into Apalachicola and St George for dinner as they had dog friendly restaurants.

Our family loved it!

This is a great little place just a few mins walk to the beach. The house was clean on arrival and plenty big for our family of four with dogs. We really enjoyed the back patio which is where we spent a lot of our time due to bad weather. We visted Paul's house during a Severe thunderstorm with flooding rains over the whole area and his house stood strong! We partied on the patio with wind, rain, and lightning like I've never seen before and still had a great time! The last two days were beautiful and thank you Paul for being such a great host. I felt like I was communicating with one of my close friends, great guy! Looking forward to renting again next year regardless of the weather!

Reed Cottage

This little cottage was great. Very clean and had everything anyone would need. Paul, the host, even had refreshments in the fridge. We loved the screened in patio. The beach was private, no crowds. Hope to return again soon.

Old Florida Feel

Had a great time experiencing the beach without all the buzz from being on a strip or waiting hours to get a bite to eat. The property has a nice little yard that we could comfortably play fetch with our dogs and didn’t have to worry about traffic. The beach was fantastic! We never had to fight for spot on the beach and mostly felt we had it to ourselves. It was great for our 2 year old to swim and play because the waves were so mild. We would absolutely go back. Paul is a very kind host including all the comforts of home at his little hidden treasure!

Forgotten Florida Private

I highly recommend this amazing, private, clean listing with a short walk to the beach. Paul was a gracious host who has thought of every possible need of his guests. The cottage is a perfect place for a quiet beach get away. We were impressed with the details that went into this renovation and with the cleanliness. It was a pleasure exploring the surrounding areas we were not familiar with in Florida while getting beach time in as well. Wildlife abounds and fishing is decent. Will definitely return! Wonderful Getaway for a Couple

The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and the property owner was professional, friendly and prompt in his communications The cottage was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The nearby beach was wonderful to walk with clean white sand and gorgeous sunsets and no crowds. Many, many dining options within 20 minutes from simple to extravagant. Can’t wait to return.

Very cozy place!

Comfortable place to stay. The location is nice and easy to access the beach and around. The host is very pleasant to communicate. There are dolphins you can watch every morning and evening from the private beach. Lots of seashells on the huge outside state park beach.

Great house

Paul was a great host and this home was very nice and clean. Although this is only a single bedroom, it was plenty of room for our family of four. The back screened in porch was perfect for hanging out in the evenings and playing cards and board games that Paul had there. We had plenty of room to park our boat and even loved that the beautiful beach was only a short 2 or 3 minute walk away as well. We had a great trip and will for sure be back again.

Great stay in Carrabelle

This was a great little place to stay. It was comfortable and in a great location. The beach is close, the neighborhood was friendly, and our host was super helpful. We really enjoyed discovering the charm of Carrabelle and the forgotten coast area. We would not hesitate to come back.

I bought this place in 2017 and just started to rent it out. I've enjoyed countless weekends hanging out with family and friends in Carrabelle. The fishing is awesome and it's just a very laid-back atmosphere and a great place to unwind.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This is cool little place to get away and relax without the hassle of crowded public beach or a touristy atmosphere.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Private neighborhood beach access with a couple minute walk to the beach or you can drive down to the parking area which takes about 30 seconds. Downtown Carrabelle is about a 3 minute drive with little shops, bars and places to eat. Everything is close.
