5 words for you...Not Your Average Tiny House...This tiny home will give you good vibes the second you pull in the driveway. The Little Wood Lodge is a vintage 1950's hunting cabin that has been reinvented into a gorgeous, meticulously detailed home that offers every amenity you could need. From the 1880's tongue and groove pine barn wood ceiling to the beautiful custom cabinets and granite countertops...comfort abounds. Situated in a soaring canopy of Oak, Maple, Elm and Pine trees, this is the escape you need.
The Little Wood Lodge is set on 8 private acres...there are "country neighbors" that you will pass by along the gravel road but no immediate neighbors to either side of our property. We are super close to some of Northern Michigan's most special places!

We had a great stay at this adorable tiny home. The setting in amongst the trees really gave you that perfect vacation feeling. The bedroom was perfect for our family of four and everything was clean upon check in. The host was quick with communication and the house was stocked with what we needed. I would definitely return and recommend to others.

Wonderful place, close to lots of fun activities! The house is perfect for a getaway. No issues at all, and host was easy to work with. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay at a place within driving distance of sleeping bear dunes, traverse city, and crystal mounting is right down the road!!

A great place for a couple’s ski get away. We enjoyed being less than 10 minutes from Crystal Mountain’s slopes and having a secluded cozy and beautiful cabin to relax in (the gas fireplace was perfect to warm up with). The driveway was well plowed and easily accessible. We hope to stay there again and would highly recommend it.

Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed our weekend stay at this cute little house. It was just the right amount of room for the two of us. We enjoyed eating outside on the little porch! The location was a bit remote, but it worked for us to get to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Old Mission Peninsula. I would suggest that you have either the porch light or string lights come on at dusk. We arrived in the dark, and it was pitch black on the property. Also, we did not enjoy the shower curtain liner that was at least 2 feet longer than it should have been. It was like trying to shower with a huge wedding dress at your feet. :) Several windows were unlocked when we arrived which I didn't like. When I arrive at a VRBO, I don't want to have to go around checking security items. There were some cleaning issues I noticed as well - a good bit of build up around the faucet in the bathroom, dirty fridge, and a fake plant on the wall had a large spider web in it. These were minor items, and we would stay here again!

Holiday getaway

We enjoyed our stay in the tiny home! It was perfect for driving to Sutton’s Bay, Acadia Dunes and Crystal Mountain. The home is very clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay.
