fantastic house nestled in the woods

We had a fabulous Sewanee graduation week at this house! This is an open layout house with lots of light! The house is clean and well kept. I would definitely stay at this property in the future! The host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating! Thanks for a fabulous stay!!!

Lovely home in tucked away in the woods.

We loved our stay at this property! It was very convenient for us to drive to Sewanee or into town as needed, and yet we felt that we were on a private nature retreat. We enjoyed exploring the trails near the house. The home is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Extra blankets, games, and a fully stocked kitchen were much appreciated. Thank you!

Lovely House near Sewanee College!

Great location to college! This house is very clean, updated and perfect for a getaway in the mountains. Cute fire pit in the back as well. Great neighborhood for walking.

Quiet getaway in the woods!

This house was exactly as described. Very clean, conveniently accessed, and private. It ended up being three adults, and we had access to hiking trails, a lake, and other community amenities. It was a great little break from the city and we will be back.

Wedding Weekend

What an amazing house for family to gather & get ready for a wedding. From beginning to end this was a great house, location, scenery, and little wildlife. The host was very quick to respond to all my questions in the days before. We will definitely keep this house in mind for our next mountain getaway!!

An awesome stay

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and provided everything we could want. The property was beautiful, too, and I found a little trail out back. I also went for a run in the morning along the road and there were very few cars. A perfect spot--highly recommend!

Great Woodsy Getaway

This property was a perfect basecamp for two families visiting our kids at Sewanee for the weekend. The house was a short drive from campus, Monteagle and all the surrounding areas. The house was perfect for our two families, sparkling new, and we can't wait to stay again.

Peaceful Getaway in a modern home

Fantastic!

Spent 4 nights, 4 people, visiting friends in Sewanee for Thanksgiving; Jamie ‘s house was exactly as described, a wonderful open space with everything high quality; bedding, kitchen equipped with everything you might need. A very welcoming , quiet, private outdoor space, a great fire pit and plenty of trails accessible directly from house. Thank you Jamie, hoping to come back!

Perfect Getaway

The house is exactly as advertised and as it appears in the photos. It was extremely clean, had nice amenities and is located so conveniently for anything you’d like to do in the area. The hosts were extremely responsive with any questions and were very gracious.

Sewanee Parents’ Weekend

I rented this property with another couple as our home base during Parents Weekend. The house is lovely and it was very clean and well stocked with basic essentials. We enjoyed the fire pit and grill area. The owner was very responsive when I had a question. I would definitely rent this house again !

Weekend Getaway

We had the best experience staying here for a weekend gateway with the whole family (adults and children). We did some local hiking and enjoyed the town. The kids loved fishing at the lake, running the hiking trails around the cabin and even built a fort in the woods. It was great to disconnect and just be a family. We cannot say enough about the cleanliness of the rental and the responsiveness of the host. Jamie was fantastic! We would definitely stay here again.

Great experience

Our group of 4 adults made the property our home base for a 3 day golf outing to Sweeten's Cove and the Course at Sewanee. The experience was outstanding! The house is new, fresh and spotless. The beds are very comfortable; the kitchen is well-stocked; the linens are new and first class. We enjoyed sitting around fire pit one cool evening. The bird watching is fabulous; the location is very private and quiet.
