The heat was not on; it took over an hour to take our jackets off. Only two bath towels in this place that sleep 6, I had 5 people that stayed and luckily, I live only 5 minutes away to go get everyone clean bath towels at 9 pm the day before thanksgiving. The dishwasher needed to be un-loaded before I could start cooking our thanksgiving meal. The dryer had a blanket and sheets that needed to be folded. I don't feel the changeover was handled properly. Not even one fork was in the silverware draw. I had to end my stay early but no fault of theirs. A family passes and the wake was scheduled for the 29th in Georgia we left the 27th Friday morning at 5 o'clock

My family absolutely enjoyed our vacation here and was a fantastic spot to enjoy 4 beautiful days. Overlooking the canal was special, we could fish and go crabbing, paddle boarding and enjoyed eating outside. Minutes to the ocean and waterfront restaraunts were terrific too. I would prefer having an upgraded deck with nicer furniture outside and overall bedrooms to make it much better. We would come back

The house was clean and neat. Unfortunately there were a few problems. The master bath shower was unusable due to a bad shower head. Also you couldn’t make use of the very nice deck during the day since the umbrella was broken. The open shed on the deck was loaded with junk that was easily visible. The front yard had foot tall weeds.

Fantastic Home

Went down there for Fourth of July with my family and had a wonderful experience. The house is clean, spacious and in a great location. The deck and back is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing. I recommend this song and will stay there again.

Great location on the water

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location on the water was perfect, the owner was very accommodating, and it included everything that we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Here And There

The huge fenced deck had ample seating. The kids loved playing there. We (7 of us) ate at the big table inside. Saw a grill outside, but the propane was empty, a piece was broken and the grates were grimy. Found 2 beach chairs in the shed and used them on LBI, about a 10-minute drive. The amount of dishes, flatware and drinkware was minimal and mostly plastic. Cookware and utensils were OK, but no mixing bowl. We used our own paper plates and cups; the dishwasher left dishes clean but wet, even on heated dry. Keurig included coffee pods. Very nice clothes washer/dryer, all electronic. Found detergents, cleaning products and paper towels/napkins, but only one dish towel, 2 dish sponges, no dishcloth. Needed a kitchen garbage can that would stay shut. Plastic bags provided. Bedrooms were sparsely furnished, but with linens, pillows, blankets and beach towels in one closet. Other closets held a vacuum, iron etc. but were too full for hanging our clothes. A/C worked, as cold as desired. One of us said her mattress was best ever! Bathrooms had soap, towels (no washcloths). NO toilet paper except one nearly empty roll. We had our own, luckily. House needs better lighting; it’s quite gloomy inside at night. Wi-fi worked fine. TV was good, had apps and casting capability.

Getaway

A decent stay with my family for the short time we were there. House was not in very good condition; it smelled of cigarette smoke, a/c wasn’t working well, kitchen was not very well equipped, bedrooms did not have any dressers for clothing. The area was lovely, the lagoon was pleasant. Again, we only spent a few days so it was bearable but would not want to have the place for a week.

College Spring Break House

The space and location were great but the comfort and decor are lacking. Hodge podge of plastic dishes, bedding and towels. Drank my glass of wine out of a dixie cup. Had to unload the dishwasher when we got there and search for a hand towel. Not exactly what I thought I was paying for. Poor/no communication (only the code to get in). Great deck with cheap furniture. Could really be classed up some!

Wedding weekend

The house was perfect for our weekend at the shore for a family wedding. The deck overlooking the water was just perfect for a small get together the night before. The owners were more than accommodating and even let us drop off our food early before check in time. Ten out of ten visit. Thanks so much. We'll be back!

Fun family vacation

We had a fun family vacation at your home . We loved the openness of the living room /dinning room . The master bedroom was great . The other 2 bedrooms were alittle warm . We loved the big deck and the couch and table and chairs were great ! We loved having morning coffee and relaxing out there . Thank you for sharing your home !

Great place

This place was great for our needs. A couple of suggestions to really up the property. Dressers in the bed rooms would help greatly. There should be extra garbage cans like in the bathrooms too. More of a variety needed with plates and bowls, etc. I needed to purchase a colander for our pasta. Finally, some more cups or glasses would also hit the spot. The beds we’re very comfortable and the deck makes the property. A great little place!

Need attention

This rental needs some Love and attention. Safety concerns with no working smoke detectors. Unsafe Electrical issues inside and outside. Part of the fencing near the lagoon was missing unsafe for small children and pets. Tons of tall weeds. would not rent again
