The Space:

This beautiful 1,800 sq. ft. classic Florida cottage has 4 bedrooms 2 full baths (sleeps 10). Located in Fort Walton Beach, this cottage has your family in mind with a saltwater pool (not heated), covered back porch with plenty of seating, propane grill, fenced in backyard with swing set, and only 7 houses separate you from Garnier's Beach waterfront Park.... featuring Swimming/boat ramp.

Amazing! The home was exceptionally clean and very welcoming. The host had complimentary coffee and a coupon for a free coffee. The pool was wonderful and had floaties ready to go! The home was very cozy and perfect to fit our larger party. The house was gorgeous with plenty of parking space. The hosts were easily reachable and wonderful at accommodating anything we needed with extremely quick response times. We vacation every year and this is one of the best places we have stayed. If we come back to this area I would not hesitate to book this home again. Highly recommend!!!

Convenient

Super clean, bright property, close to everything. Private pool was a delight. Close to AFB, about 10 min or less, which is why we chose this home. Will return!

Perfect family home

If I could give 10 stars I would! If you want a relaxing, safe, and enjoyable home this is the place! The beds were so comfortable. I haven’t slept that good in years. The boys loved the pool and having their own tvs available in each room. I would definitely go back to this house in the future. Also, loved they had a washer and dryer available.

Great Vacation

We had a great stay at the beach weekend house! The location is close to different beaches and stores. We had 8 people kids and adults and everyone enjoyed the pool! The only negative is the tile around the porch in the pool area gets slippery when wet so you have to be careful. The Beach Weekend was very responsive and helpful with all of our requests!

Great Stay

Really enjoyed the pool with the kids. It was extremely hot our week there. If I had to give a negative comment it would be better blinds on the windows, very bright early in the mornings. Black out curtains would have been nice but just a preference. Overall, we were pleased with the location and our stay. Very clean.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was as pictured in the listing other than two issues, one minor and one major (just my opinion), with the first (major) being the small twin/trundle bedroom had the trundle mattress on the floor instead of on a frame since the frame had recently broke before our check in, but for me this was not acceptable and I went out and purchased an inflatable mattress at Wal-Mart to bring the mattress up off the floor (just one more item to tote back home) :( The 2nd (minor) disappointment was there was no cornhole available as stated in the listing. Otherwise we enjoyed the house with the pool (house had plenty of beach towels) being a big hit with everyone and where we spent a big portion of our time. Highly recommend this vacation rental even with the trundle bed issue we'd definitely book again. Thank you Beach Weekend and Bobby! God Bless.

Almost as good as the pictures

First thing is the outside of the house on the front door needs to pressured washed. It’s covered in bugs and webs. The bathtub doesn’t drain correctly. It drains slowly which causes the water to cover your feet while you shower. The backyard needs the palm trees trimmed. Also the bedrooms do not have storage space or drawers for clothes. You do have small closets in two of them and a big closet in the master bedroom. The pool was awesome and the house was pretty clean considering I have high standards. The location to everything was perfect as well. This property is just across the street from the water.

Fall Break 2022

The house is very nice and clean, beds are super comfortable. The kitchen items could be spruced up we did not have many pots and pans to choose from and was missing some basic items like a pitcher, wine/bottle Opener. Overall the house is very nice. You do have to drive about 10 minutes to the main Fort Walton area for activities. We had a great stay and no real complaints!
