Enjoy our 3 bedroom 2.5 bath mountain home at 4000’ in Seven Devils close to Boone, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar and Beech Mountain. You’ll be within 30 minutes of the best that High Country has to offer. Winters can be spent skiing at Sugar and Beech mountain while still having a quiet space of your own. Summer hiking is fantastic at the popular Profile trail, Grandfather Mountain or Otter Falls. Or just take in the amazing long range views from your deck and relax for your stay.

My husband and I went on a small getaway after our wedding and stayed here. It was perfect! Beautiful views of the mountains and fall colors, spacious kitchen and living area, nice outdoor fire with seating. Very clean overall and the area was quiet. Also close enough to Blowing Rock and Boone and some local restaurants to treat ourselves out, as well as just a short drive to some wonderful hikes with beautiful views.

Lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay. Home was neat as a pin with many amenities - appreciated the carafe of cold water when we arrived! Beautiful views from the front deck. Super fast internet service. Location was perfect - minutes to Otter Falls trailhead and nearby restaurants etc. We plan to revisit soon!

Quiet & comfy for our Grandfather Mountain visit

Our stay was only an overnight but after a great day outdoors at Grandfather Mountain this chalet was a comfortable spot for a relaxing evening watching a movie & recharging. Tucked in a pretty & quiet residential area, it was still a quick trip to the closest restaurant area. I most enjoyed the great room/open kitchen area(which seemed newly renovated). Although overall the property could use a bit of spiffing up everything was very clean and offered all the conveniences we needed, including comfortable bedding. We finished our stay by making use of the included pool table which offered some unexpected fun before heading out. WiFi worked well

Lovely Mountain House

Cozy 3 level house with scenic view from spacious deck. Not far from attractions. Not lavish but tastefully decorated. Just three of us. Constant communication from host.

We drove 6 hrs to Banner Elk to a different VRBO, walked in the door, and were overcome by the smell of mold. Needless to stay we left right away. We found the Unique Chalet on VRBO and messaged the owner Nick to see if we could get in right away. Nick bent over backwards to help us. It is easy to see why he is a premier host. We loved our stay at the Chalet. It was sunny, roomy, and the views were gorgeous. So beautiful and so relaxing. It is up in the mountains, but centrally located to many of the small towns in the area, and lots of great hiking trails. We hope to stay there again next year.

Space for friends

My friends and I who are 68 and older stayed here overnight and went snow tubing which is very close by. His house is older, but they have put some good modern features in there as well. This was the perfect house for friends to be together or separate if you want
. There’s three bedrooms & there’s the lower level with the pool table and an extra bed. Plenty of bathrooms, games, and TVs for anybody who wants them
 Nick did say that it was a steep road to get up there and to the driveway which is true but it snowed 2 inches the night we were there and we got down off the mountain, just fine with all wheel drive and good tires.

Host very helpful in making our stay comfortable. Kitchen offers more than ample space to dine together. Location convenient to all high country has to offer. Sunrise views from house are spectacular. Fire pit offers relaxing evenings.
