Clean place to stay. Comfortable beds! If you will be doing any cooking, the kitchen is definitely a guest house kitchen with only a mini fridge type set up - so be aware. The host was lovely, the guest house was great for what we needed.

Very nice property but the pictures were a little deceiving concerning the size of the kitchen and dining/living room area. The bedroom rooms were very nice though. The front full bathroom shower stall surprised us a bit because we thought the shower floor was dirty but it wasn’t. The nonslip patches were removed but the outlines of them were still there. The pool area was very nice. Also the bathroom in the master bedroom could have used a small table next to the sink because of the limited space for toiletries. In all we were happy with our accommodations and would return. Ashley our host was very responsive to any needs that came up.

Great poolhouse!

Great little place and very private even though it was in the owner's backyard. Very sweet dogs! Peaceful and comfy bed. We will be back!

Quiet area

Cute little get-away. Best suited for 2, at most, I think, as there isn't a lot of storage. The area is quiet and out of the craziness of San Antonio, yet close enough for sightseeing. Weather didn't allow us to use the pool, but it looked inviting.

Visit River walk

As pictured and described...property is in older residential area, frequent major road noise during day and early evening hours. Residents of property were not intrusive. Would recommend for short stay only due to small living condition.

Thank you Lee for taking the time to review our property. Since your stay we have re-arranged the furniture so that our guests have a little more wiggle room. We have many guests who stay for long durations and love the property, and stay without issue. Most have comment that it has everything they need. So it is just a matter of preference. For that we recommend reviewing all photos to understand the space and book if you feel comfortable. We want all of our guests to enjoy, that is key! :) We do have traffic off and on through the day, but not all day and the majority of what you’ll hear is nature, which is what our guests frequently comment on. We live in a highly sought after neighborhood with large lots and mature trees, and sits in the country but very closely neighbors the city. So it’s a combination of both. We’re happy to help any future guests on any questions you may have. ☀️ Happy booking!

Quiet Place

The place was great. Quiet, clean and comfortable. The water pressure was very low. The host was fabulous! Replied quickly when reserving and there was an error. She got it handled very fast. The traffic pattern in the area is strange to me with the u-turns and not being able to cross main roads can make an outing a little stressful

Lovely property, nice outdoor space

We came as a family vacation for a 5 year old birthday trip. My daughter loved the pool access and floats, and the outdoor space was very nice. Not very far from and was easy to get to Sea World, the Zoo, and the Riverwalk. There are also several local restaurants and a cool ice cream shop nearby. For smaller kiddos I would recommend life jackets or floats as the pool is deep enough that they can’t stand off the steps, just as an fyi for a young family.

Weekend getaway to Helotes

We needed a location in Helotes. We did not want to drive from hotels in San Antonio and wanted no part of 1604. We wanted to watch concerts at Floores on back to back nights. The owner always answers quickly and accurately. It is just as described. It is a cozy room described as a pool house. It was perfect for what we needed. I had no issues at all.
