Helen's Hideaway is a great place to either just get away or celebrate special occasions with family and friends. Fully Renovated 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin with fireplace. The kitchen is equipped so you have what you need to cook it up for the whole family. Enjoy using our brand-new hot tub. There is a Vahalla Resort Spa in the gated community, restaurants, and a golf course for those golfers in your family. The cabin is nestled in the mountains. This cabin doesn't disappoint. Only 3 mile drive from downtown not walking distance due to mountainous location. Entrance gate is on back road of downtown Helen.

Perfect family stay in this charming cabin over Christmas. Bear-themed decor was fun for the kids. Number of bathrooms and bedrooms just what we needed in this well-kept and clean cabin. With little ones, especially liked the enclosed screened porches overlooking the beautiful trees. Hosts were very nice, responsive and even decorated the cottage for Christmas!

Cabin was decorated nicely for the holidays . Host was very responsive to a clothes washer issue we had . Our group enjoyed the hot tub and fire ring on back porch . We used the grill on the porch once and couldn’t get the exhaust fan to turn on so it was a little smokey . We had a great time .

The house was in a quiet, secluded gated neighborhood with a short drive into downtown Helen. The house was very clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. It was comfortable for 8 people. The host was easily accessible and responded quickly to any questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great property, lower level has two twin beds and full bathroom hot tub and pool table, main level has a bedroom and full bath and upper level has two bedrooms and full bath. Close to town with most of the drive in a gated community. Great Communication.

Very nice place! It's definitely far back in the neighborhood so make sure you bring a vehicle that can handle big inclines. We did see bears, so believe the hype!! Perfect for a girls weekend with plenty of beds, bathrooms, and space.

Such a charming property. Nestled up in the mountains, it was the perfect place to stay after a busy day in Helen. The host was gracious and helpful. The house was decorated for fall. All in all a great place to take family and friends.

We had an incredible weekend getaway. We were close to Anna Ruby Falls, Tubing, and downtown. Hosts were super responsive & friendly. Uber/lyft was an easy low cost option as well which was perfect.

Nice cabin in a secluded woodsy area. Nicely decorated with a relaxing screened porch in back. Nice separation of rooms.A challenging drive to get to from the entrance so be aware of that.

Great property! Everything was as advertised. Sure there are a few little blemishes here and there but honestly it made the place feel more “homey”. It made us more relaxed and not afraid to touch anything. If I had to nitpick anything and it didn’t affect us at all because we didn’t care to use it was the game room. There were lots of board games I saw but we didn’t get into them

The pool table is fine. I saw some people complaining about it. For what it is it is fine. Nobody is planning the world championship billiard competition at Helen’s Hideaway. It’s fine

Dartboard needs some new darts

the arcade basketball games frame is broken. again, didn’t bother us, but if you’re traveling with kids you may wanna be aware. Altogether, very nice cabin in a safe neighborhood with all the basic amenities you would want/need to use on vacation.

Christmas in Helen

Two families of 4 stayed the weekend before Christmas and it was a great time! Close proximity to downtown as well as to fun and easy hikes. The house was clean, beds comfortable and the basement game room was a lot of fun. Worth noting, the two twin bedroom is the only bedroom on the bottom floor, and is very small with no windows. It worked fine for the two young boys (7 years old) but it could be a little scary for some littles.

Thanksgiving getaway

Decided to take the family to the mountains for Thanksgiving and came across this cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for! Extremely cozy and comfortable and the Christmas decorations were an added bonus that we loved! Everyone was extremely pleased with the cabin and all it had to offer. The place was also immaculately clean! Would 100% stay here again! Fairly quick access to and from town just have to traverse the hills.

Great family stay after Thanksgiving!

Our family went to Helen the weekend after Thanksgiving to celebrate the lighting of the town and Christmas markets. This was a perfect place for our stay, less than 10 minute drive to the town. This house is 3 stories and plenty of room for our family of 5 and the hot tub was everyone's favorite. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful and Christmas decorate house.

Clean, comfy and spacious

The property was clean, beds were comfortable and plenty of space for 4 couples. Hot tub was great, spacious open and well stocked kitchen/living room. Loved the screened in 2 level back porch and the views from them were very private. Close to town. Would stay again.
