Spring Break Ski Trip

Loved our stay. Condo was clean and the ski in ski out location made it perfect for our trip. Our only complaint was only having 6 bath towels and 1 kitchen towel was inconvenient.

Great stay, location, and view not far from Durango

Our family of six really enjoyed our time at Twilight D2! The location is wonderful, the stay was great, and we enjoyed some great hiking and scenery nearby.

Adorable condo with beautiful views

Loved the property. Lots of windows to gaze at the snowcapped mountains and a short walk to the slopes. Hope to check out the area come the summer months.

Beautiful place!!

Amazing and magical place. Building is a little dated and hot tub was slimy and the whole unit smelled like a camp fire but other than that it was heaven on earth. We would go back.

Hidden Gem

This place had a view like no other. It is on the older side but it was clean and comfortable and what is not mentioned is there is an accordian door that can separate the living space into a semi private bedroom for the person who ends up on the pull out couch. That was a neat surprise. We walked to the lifts (about 3-5 minutes) and even though it was a warmer year, we all had a great time.

Beautiful view of mountains

Great place to stay. We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. The description of the place is point on, except we had issues with internet and TV not working till about our second day. There was also no DVD player like it said, which would have been nice for our granddaughter. Also, the internet service was horrible. But, other than that we had a good time.

A very disappointing stay.

This was our 6th stay at Twilight View. This was our first stay since the management switched over to Vacasa. The property is definitely not maintained like it was before. There is trash and miscellaneous stuff all around, broken flower planters and old RV’s, and the brush and foliage are so overgrown you can't even walk around the buildings. The hot tub was not working and the BBQ grills were too dirty to use. It was really heartbreaking to see how badly the place we had spent so many family vacations has fallen into disrepair. We stayed 5 nights and we never saw any evidence that a maintenance person was ever there. The condo was outdated and one of the beds was actually broken. Overall though, it is comfortable enough. The condo is not inexpensive to rent and I think for the money we spent we could have found better accommodations.

No hot water or hot tub

We checked in after a long day of hiking. The hot water was not working in the unit and the hot tub was broken. They said they would send someone out the next day but no estimated time. The onsite maintenance man showed up around 10 to reset the breaker. When we finally took our showers both tubs were backed up and smelled like sewage. I have stayed in Purgatory several times at different locations since 2011. I was very disappointed. This was my brother in laws first time. I reserved it for his birthday to celebrate and it was literally embarrassing that things were not working. I feel that there should be some type of compensation since the host fee was double what we usually pay and we had no hot water for the first day and morning of the second day.

Good but not Great

This property met our most important requirements. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The view of the mountains from the deck was an added plus. We did have some issues however. When I tried to connect to the wi-fi, I looked for the network included with the email sent by vacasa but it wasn't there so I looked in the guest book. I found the real network, but the password didn't work. I found the router which had the network and password written on it. The password included an "S" which was capitalized but I finally got in when I used a small "s". After that, the wi-fi worked great. The wi-fi wasn't the only issue though. When we arrived, the valance for the window coverings on the deck door was lying on the floor next to the heat register. It was a struggle to open the screen door to the deck because it doesn't roll well. The drain in the guest bathroom sink drains very slowly and water backed up into the sink. The jam on the door to the master bedroom is coming loose and I had to push a nail in to avoid getting caught on it. There is dried flower arrangement on the wall above the bed in the master. As an allergy sufferer, I wonder how long it has been collecting dust. I'd recommend removing it. Lastly, the toilet paper provided was so thin that I could see through it. The quality is so bad, Walmart wouldn't sell such an inferior product. Despite all those issues, we enjoyed our stay. The view of the mountains was really nice.

Amazing views!

The views were amazing, The kitchen well stocked with spices, pots, pans, even coffee filters! (We did bring our own though). It was VERY clean! Loved it! Will book again! I’d give 100 stars if I could!
