Better than worst

Hello, The location of the property is really wonderful and the route to the stay was exciting. I did have some issues with the stay where the beck and patio was not clean, the toilet was broken and the TV's in the property were not working. The was only one paddles avaliable. Overall the stay was OK.

We found it dirty

We communicated specifics with the owner, so won't go into full details. The location is great, but that doesn't overcome that it was uncomfortably dirty in many ways. AC went out, so with temps in the 90s the inside was a balmy 82...all night and no way to open the windows. The bottom line is, with this booking there was a higher than normal cleaning fee. When we arrived we expected the place to be spotless. It was the opposite.This is also a duplex. That was not clear to us when we booked. Although it does say duo side "B", we maybe didn't put that together, so that's on us.

Wonderful Memorial Weekend Getaway!

My husband, kids, and I spent Memorial Weekend at this beautiful lake house and had a fantastic time! The home is tastefully decorated with gorgeous furniture and offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. We especially loved the large upstairs living/dining room and the even bigger downstairs game room, complete with sofa, giant Connect 4, foosball, basketball, and tons of other fun games. My kids had an absolute blast and loved watching movies there after sunset.Each bedroom had a smart TV, which was a nice touch. The two spacious decks offered stunning lake views and lots of comfortable seating. We also enjoyed spending time down by the dock, which had plenty of chairs and easy access to the water. We rented a boat from the marina and were able to tie it up right at the boathouse and keep it there overnight, which was super convenient! The area of the lake where the house is located felt calm and safe, perfect for swimming, fishing, and kayaking which my kids really enjoyed.The location was great, just 9 minutes from I-85 and only 6 minutes from a new Dollar General for last-minute essentials. We also visited Rosemont Vineyards (only 7 minutes away), and their wine tasting was fantastic!The host was very responsive and quick to answer our questions, which made the stay even smoother. Overall, this was a wonderful and memorable getaway. Thank you for hosting us!
