Covering over 20,000 acres, Lake Gaston boasts high-quality water, spanning approximately one and a half miles in width at its lower end, with a shoreline extending over 350 miles. Maintaining a normal height of 200 feet above sea level, the lake remains consistent, except in cases of emergency. ✔ Goat Island is located in the northeast quadrant of Lake Gaston in Peahill Creek. It has long been a favorite hangout for boating families looking for a place to dock and swim.

✔ Take a Wake Board Lesson. World Champion Adam Fields owns AFWake and teaches. You can rent or buy equipment.

✔ Sylvan Heights Bird Park has over 2,000 birds from around the world.
