In the beautiful Michigan countryside, there are three lakes surrounding this home to choose from! Lake Walloon, Lake Charlevoix, and of course, Lake Michigan! It's a lake lover's paradise in the summer, and an ice fisherman's dream in the winter. Secluded and quiet, you'll definitely get away from it all and feel like you're on vacation. Drive into town to find local eateries, shops, arts, golf courses, entertainment, historical landmarks, ski resorts, and an array of family-friendly activities.

Inside you'll find a bright interior with a warm feeling of welcome throughout the space. The living area invites you in to lounge on the sofa and have a great conversation, or to watch a show on the large TV above the cozy fireplace. The chef of the group will love how much space there is to maneuver about the kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar. With five beds and a crib, there's more than enough room for you and your loved ones to get a comfortable night's sleep from the day's adventures. Chalk up some friendly competition with chess or ping pong in the basement, where there are comfy recliners and a large TV to enjoy movies! Enjoy your favorite drink on the porch while you watch the fantastic Michigan sunset, or tell ghost stories out at the fire pit until the stars come out to dot the sky.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great place to stay. Good location. Didn’t expect so far off the main roads. A bit buggy. Didn’t expect 4th bedroom and bathroom in the basement. Overall great place

Annual trip with sisters.
The interior of the house was very clean and plenty of space for a large group. The exterior needs some landscape and general cleaning and the porch floors and handrails need paint. Very private area with wildlife for viewing. Great location for visiting Petoskey and Mackinac island.

Cockroaches!
There were some great things about this home. Unfortunately, the heavy water leak through ceiling into the basement throughout our stay, the fridge that barely cooled and our need to use a cooler for milk and finally the cockroaches. We saw them as we were cleaning up. We immediately told Vacasa the management company and the cleaning service when she arrived. She said new renters were coming in just after us. I am unpacking and have found 4 of the same roaches in our belongings and still counting. I have tried many forms of communication with VRBO and Vacasa. I was told, "My apologies for that Lisa, kindly note that pests are more likely to make an appearance during summer months due to increased temperatures and outdoor surroundings. Our team takes proactive steps to minimize pests with regular pest control and cleaning. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Would you like me to inform the local staff about this so that they can come over and fix it?" We checked out 10 hours ago. So, did the new renters check into a roach infested house? I was hoping not to post but I am not getting a response other than a somewhat promising response from "Shannon". Let's see if there is a resolution.

The property was great. Secluded, yet a 15 min drive to Petoskey and Charlevoix. Plenty of space for 5 adult men to be comfortable.
