Greatest Vacay Ever!!
Upon our arrival we were not able to get in the house due to my email not allowing us to check in. I called the owner, and she was very attentive and courteous. I've visited a lot of houses; never have I had an owner that was so nice and concerned about our well-being. The house was very clean inside and out. I am usually skeptical about sleeping under blankets and bring my own. This home was different, there was no doubt that the blankets were freshly laundered. The pool was warm, and the kids were ready to get in. The pool area was very inviting. I popped open a bottle of wine and relaxed on the sectional. The pool lights go out at 11pm but the kids stayed in. The living room has a nice 82" TV and a large cozy sectional with throws and a beautiful fireplace which was perfect for us to watch a movie together before bed. Surprisingly, the kids were up early and playing around the pool. (The same kids that normally slept in.) My son was on the dock and had already caught 5 blue crabs he was so excited. He was blowing up his raft to go out on the water. He came back and lowered the small boat that came with the house into the water and went fishing. We did get to go to Panama Beach and go shopping on the Pier. We had fun except the stores started closing about 6pm and we were not finished shopping.
My 7year old grandson asked me, "why can't we buy this house? The other kids said we should make an offer to buy so we can come whenever we want. I must admit this home was worth every dime. The kitchen had high end appliances I enjoyed cooking in it. The master bedroom with fireplace and ensuite were absolutely stunning. There was an office area in the master and there were double doors that lead to the pool area. My son loved the fact that there was a bedroom in a separate area building so he and his girlfriend had privacy. I can't wait to go back hopefully we can stay longer next time!
