A True Log Cabin in The Woods with Mountain Views in Indian Mountain

Come enjoy our comfortable spacious log cabin with vaulted ceilings, 2 big bedrooms, and one oversized bathroom with heated floor nestled up on two private acres and surrounded by uninhabited acreage on 3 sides. Relax in the sparkling hot tub and enjoy the mountain views and evening stars. If you are looking for a rustic getaway with all of the comforts of home this is it! Our views are pretty spectacular! We face south and get lots of sun and enjoy overlooking the valley and Indian Mountain.
Hoof Retreat has a full covered front porch, horse shoe pit, hot tub, chair swing, fire pit, 65 inch tv, beautiful shower/bathroom with heated slate floors. The cabin has two bedrooms - two queen size beds and a bunk bed.
Simply stunning and decorated to feel like you are on a mountain vacation. Enjoy watching the deer almost daily. Pets are welcome - there is a fenced back yard to keep them in and critters out.
Fully stocked with everything you will need - just bring your toothbrush. Most cell phone carriers work here but not all. AT&T and Verizon work great there on our cell phones and iPads. We offer WiFi/Internet for free.

We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was contactless and easy. The cabin was clean and nicely furnished (comfiest bed I have had away from home). The hot tub was nice to sit and gaze at the stars. The dog run made traveling with our fur balls so easy. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to cook.

Perfect Mountain Cabin

This property is awesome! Super quiet cabin with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed checking out the stars while relaxing in the hot tub followed up be some netflix when the rain blew in. Couldnt ask for a more perfect weekend away from the city.

The home is secluded and beautiful. Having the gates at each end is the front porch and the small fenced back yard was very nice for our dog. We enjoyed a short walk around the property, played some horshoes and hung out in the hot tub. We'd be happy to return again.

Great weekend getaway!

My partner and I ventured here for a quick Thanksgiving trip and it was wonderful! Everything was exactly as described and there is plenty of privacy. The hosts were very responsive at all stages of the booking. Would definitely book again!

Perfect mountain cabin experience!

The cabin exceeded our expectations. My family and I wanted a true log cabin experience in the mountains for the holidays and this cabin was perfect! Amazing views and windows, wildlife, very dog friendly, and WiFi works great!

Fantastic cabin!

Not only is the cabin beautiful, but the view from the big deck is spectacular!! We took long walks around the wooded area and read in front of the wood stove. Having the dog run enabled us to relax and enjoy the peace! Highly recommend Hoof Retreat.

Amazing, peaceful place

This was one of the best vacation rental experiences I’ve ever had. The cabin was beautiful, with big windows and views of trees and mountains in every direction. The woodstove and hot tub worked perfectly. It was very easy to communicate with Andy and everything felt peaceful and easy. Would stay here again in a heartbeat or recommend it to friends.

Thank you for an amazing weekend getaway!

We loved the cabin! We needed a secluded weekend getaway and that is exactly what we got. The hot tub was perfect and there was everything you could need in the kitchen/cabin. We didn't leave once and it was perfect! We had deer greet us each morning and once at the hot tub they got extra curious and were within 10 yards of us. So fun. We will definitely add this property to our list, as we do this every year.

Everything we needed and then some at our fingertips, except a can opener. Couldn't have been better, beautiful well cared for retreat. Will be sure to recommend it to family. My husband and myself would also come back for another getaway.

Fantastic cabin!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful cabin! It is so cozy, especially with the wood-burning fire-place and lots of cozy amenities like the great hot tub. There is ample land around the house for walking, which our dog loved, including a great horse shoe pit. The cabin was very clean and pleasant, and even had wi-fi although we very much felt off-grid in all other ways. The host was very communicative and even when our dog hurt himself the day he we were supposed to come, they let us modify our stay one day later so we could have the same time frame. Just wonderful in every way. Would love to stay again and high recommend!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

I spent a week here with my dog Mowgli. This property was exactly as listed. It was easy getting into the property. Everything was very clean and we had anything we needed. The hot tub was quickly heated to temperature and there were even robes that could be used while walking in and out. This house has a nice fenced in area in the back for dog and the front patio also has door to cover the stairs so I was able to keep the front door open as well. The internet worked really well initially but didn’t work well the last few days but my Verizon worked great at the cabin. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway.

The large picture windows in the main room offer beautiful views to watch the sunrise in the morning and sunset at night. We loved having the wood burning stove going in the evenings, both for warmth and atmosphere. This is a lovely spot to spend time away, slow down and enjoy the mountain views.
