The space
Uniquely situated on it's own Private Beach this sun filled, coastal home provides uncompromising views of Lake Michigan.

It is bright, spacious, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean.

In addition to the beach, three separate outdoor areas provide plenty of room for alfresco dining, children's play or just enjoying the beautiful Michigan weather.

The Red House is decorated with both charm and comfort in mind incorporating classic cottage elements in design. We have retained all the special appointments of a vintage Michigan cottage while renovating it to modern standards. A lovely front porch, foyer and spacious living area greet you as you enter. Continuing to the back of the house is a huge kitchen and Family Room with spectacular views of the Lake and beach.

Upstairs are 3 spacious bedrooms with a variety of beds to accommodate different sleeping arrangements.

Outside is a cozy front porch, grassy side yard and huge lake side deck. Lots of table seating on the deck for outdoor dining.
Guest access
Walk Everywhere: From The Red Beach House, it is an easy walk to the marinas, the park, Maritime Museum, draw bridge, shops, restaurants, the movie theater and other attractions in downtown South Haven.

Leave your car at the beach. You won't need it!

There is plenty of parking on the drive for 4 cars. Store your own scooters, bikes, kayaks and beach toys tucked in at the front of the house.
Other things to note
South Haven is quite casual so don’t dress up. Just bring your family’s favorite t-shirts and flip-flops. You’ll be comfortably dressed for all the town’s activities. In South Haven simplicity is good.
