Sims Park hosts Live Concerts & events throughout the year. 8 minute drive to the beach. 30/45 min drive to the Sponge Docks, Clearwater Beach, Dunedin Causeway, Weeki Wachee Springs. A lovely place to stay in New Port Richey. A quiet location with being only a block from Main Street. Wonderful front porch to relax. We were fortunate to be staying there with the full moon and lunar eclipse We especially enjoyed being able to walk to the local restaurants and shops. Highly recommend the Bloody Mary at the Get Hooked Riverside. Fitzgeralds is a nice place to meet the locals.

Beautiful home. Clean. Probably the cleanest property we have stayed in to date. Right in the heart of downtown but just out of the hustle and bustle. You’ll love it!

This was my second stay at the Downtown Bungalow. The location is perfect for walking to many bars and restaurants in downtown New Port Richey as well as Sims Park. The Bungalow was perfect- clean and well stocked with everything we needed! The hosts reply quickly to all communication. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip down!

Wonderful bungalow in the downtown area of New Port Richey. Walking distance to restaurants and the ice cream shop. The house had everything we needed, was very clean and well stocked. The host, Mike, was very easy to work with and very accommodating. Definitely will recommend this bungalow and would gladly stay again when in the area.

Wonderful spot withineasy walking distance of many things

This is a cute/funky spot just one street north of Main in New Port Richey. It is decorated with beach items. Although cozy, it was perfect for the two of us. You can spend the same to rent a tiny motel you, or you can rent this cottage, be close to downtown NPR, have a beautiful shaded porch, a long front yard, and a great place to cook on the grill..

Just Right!

Perfect spot for comfort and our own space as we visited my elderly mother who lives in NPR.Bungalow is clean and tastefully decorated and efficiently stocked with essentials.Coffee pods and creamer were a welcomed treat too!Although we had minimal recreational time this trip, we did get to walk to a restaurant for a meal (there’s also a market a block away), and enjoyed a walk around the river.We’d love to make this our spot for future visits. Great value.

Week stay in NPR

My husband and I had a relaxing one week stay in this cozy cottage. Just as pictured, very clean and only one block walk to great downtown shopping and dining. We highly recommend this property for a couple or small family. Did not need to contact the host for any issues just to book for next year but it was already taken. We will try for our trip in 2027!

Amazing stay

The Beach Getaway

The bungalow was beautifully decorated with tons of special touches. The neighborhood was safe and centrally located. Main Street had cute shops, restaurants, parks, and sightseeing which was in very close walking distance (we walked to breakfast and dinner). The bikes were great for riding along the river. Super CLEAN and had everything we needed. Mike and Sarah were amazing hosts. We will stay here again. Loved the shop called MADE with handmade items by local artists for sale. A small organic grocery market and yummy food and vibes at The Social (the redfish with shrimp was out of this world). My only two regrets
. Not staying longer and the outdoor movie in the park not open till end of June. If you stay here after the last week in June of 2024 hit up movies in the park at Sims Park. Loved our time here.

All Good Vibes and Experience

I can easily say that the cottage is cute, the access process was so easy, communication with the host amazing and there were lots of considerate touches, such as a few water bottles, some condiments, toiletries and ice. Yes, ice, some places I've stayed recently didn't have ice or ice trays, so I've learned to appreciate that :) I definitely want to compliment the hosts and when it comes to reviews, I know people use these to make informed choices so, I like to point out the 3 areas I think are important to most: 1. Bed - pretty comfortable, not the best, not the worst 2. Shower - water pressure is good and gets hot 3. Location - there's a cute little downtown area one block over with lots of great restaurants, ice cream, pubs, shops, etc. There's a great walking area with a canal and super cute houses a block or two over. It's about 30-40 minutes to Honeymoon Island and about 15-20 minutes from Tarpon Springs sponge docks that offer shelling, dolphin sighting and sunset cruises. The one and only recommendation and this is not to deter anyone, but just to prepare, there's a window ac in the bedroom that cools down the room great, but if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. It's not bad, just could be louder than what you're used to. It's really a cute cottage, they've done a great job creating a good vibes feel and were amazing to work with.
