Take a break and unwind at this peaceful lake cottage with private dock and lake access. It is a bi-level, open concept home with a nice sitting area and a separate large sleeping and resting suite on the lower level. The sleeping suite has one king, one queen, and one sofa sleeper. The property has a gated private entrance and a large beautiful backyard. The dock has a swing for watching the sun rise and fishing, along with a floating dock with ladder for ease of getting in and out of the water for your enjoyment.

Great Lake house

We enjoyed our stay, the hosts were amazing and caring people. I would recommend this lake getaway to anyone looking for a nice lake house with good dock and boat slip in a cove.

Sibling fishing trip

The property is located in a nice neighborhood in a protected cove near the main lake. Very quiet and clean. The house had everything we needed and then some. There's a general store only a few minutes away that also sells bait. We launched our boat from the state park, also only a few minutes away. We caught several catfish from the dock in the evenings. We will definitely stay again.

This is the second time we came to the cottage and it was wonderful againIf you could get a non slip shower mat and small stool for shower it would be great We are going to come back in another month or so because we just love it thereThank y’all again

Awesome sunsets!

Just big enough for 2 people. The boat dock makes for great fishing. Bring your boat. Bird watching is a must. Property is up for sale, so there were some looker's.

Tawakoni Cottage

The property was everything presented on the web site. The grounds are well maintained and everything was there in case you forgot something. My only improvement idea would be a slip free mat in the shower. It was pretty slick.

Sweet Paradise

It was truly an honor being able to stay here. This is our best experience with a short-term rental, ever! The home exceeded our expectations based on the description. Judy is the kindest and sweetest host. She even added her own special touches to make us feel right at home. It was reasonably priced and provided everything we were looking for. We will definitely be revisiting soon!

Perfect place

We had a very fun time! The lake house is perfect size, and very well maintained. Everything inside and outside is well kept. There was drinks and snacks waiting on us. Fishing was hit and miss, but still caught some catfish , biggest was 9.5lbs. Host took time a few days ahead and found places that sold minnows for me. Just sitting on the swing out on the dock was peaceful, even had a friendly cat come hang out with us.

Family time

We traveled from Albuquerque, NM and spent time at the cottage on Lake Tawakoni with family who lived near the area. I booked through Vrbo and communicated with Judy prior to our stay. She was amazing and replied quickly with each correspondence. When we arrived at the lake house it looked exactly like the pictures
it was amazing! The refrigerator was stocked with water and drinks, there were all sorts of snacks and the cottage was stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely book this property again and recommend it to everyone! Thank you Judy for making our stay an amazing experience!!! Amelia and MaryAnn

Beautiful property

This is such a beautiful property. The boat dock is just steps away. This is a lovely open 1 bedroom (2 beds) cabin. The host had snacks and waters awaiting upon arrival. She had many necessities needed to cook in the cabin. The only thing I would suggest, is to go to grocery store on the way into cabin. It is a 20 min drive in either direction to a grocery store from the cabin. This was a great quite getaway for the 2 of us. We used the dock all day. We didn't have any water toys but enjoyed the sun and fishing from the dock. This was our no kid weekend for my birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Peacful Lake Getaway

First impression, property is maintained and secure. The Lake Cottage is charming and provides easy access to the lake. We brought our pontoon with us for our stay. The cottage is in close proximity to the State Park. This offered us the opportunity to unload our pontoon at the State Park and “motor” around the point to the Cottage. The Cottage’s dock was only 10 minutes away from where we unloaded. Bonus: the boat dock is lit, well maintained and firmly fixed, a very stable structure. We enjoyed peaceful nights on the dock fishing and lounging and spent our days exploring the lake on our pontoon. Not only was the Cottage wonderful but also the host was very accommodating and thoughtful (water and snacks waiting when we walked in). Communication was effortless. It was all we were looking for. I am certain we will return in the future!

Enjoyed our stay

Cottage was cozy and clean. Host kept in contact and responded quickly. Property was nice and shady as well as clean. Like the fenced in property. Had all the appliances and cook ware needed. Floating Dock was greatto hang out and also dock our boat. Held the boat firmly and also caught some fish. Will go again.

Relaxing

Nice relaxing little get away. Felt very secure behind the properties locked gate. The doc was a blast and we caught plenty of fish! The lake house had everything we needed and was stocked up with supplies! We will be back soon for sure!

Relaxing stay

We had a relaxing three-day weekend at this wonderful property! It was immaculate and spacious for just myself and husband! The neighborhood was quiet and the property was well manicured. Water level was low but we still caught fish off the dock! Overall it was a great stay that we highly recommend! We will be back for sure!
