Perfect location and very clean

We were in town for a wedding and this place was perfect. The small space is very efficiently laid out and has everything you need for a weekend stay — even an iron and board if your clothes need a press. The location was idea. It’s on a quiet street but within a block or two of all of the Solvang shopping and restaurants. It was very clean and fresh inside. We had an issue with getting in the front gate, but we worked through that and it did not detract from our stay. A really good find for a weekend for two in Solvang!

Location and great price outweigh the cons

Great price for such a prime location, walkable to everything. However, the toilet didn't flush unless you took the tank lid off and pushed something to fill the tank, and the toilet paper holder was completely broken off the wall.

Weekend getaway

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our weekend stay In Solvang. Studio is located in a perfect part of town. All of the shops and restaurants were in walking distance. Studio is clean, comfortable and really updated. Michael is a great host and was responsive to our concerns and questions that we had. Would definitely come back and stay here again.

Great studio! Would be better with some shade on the door...

We loved this property. After discussions with the property manager over text we were able to access the studio with the code provided. It is very clean, though there was a bit much of the smell of bleach on the linens. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The towels were plush, and the shower was clean and warm. A hairdryer, a small fridge, and a Keurig were provided if you wanted coffee. The only two negatives were the remote control batteries for the TV were dead - I did not reach out to remedy this since I had some in my car - and the door had frosted windows at the top, which still allowed bright light through before 6 am... if you are an early waker, no worries! If you want to sleep in a bit, I suggest some type of covering. It is also within walking distance of everything in town. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

Perfect spot

This little cottage was perfect to visit family in Solvang. Short walk to downtown. Clean.The only improvements I might mention is a curtain for the entry door and less of whatever room spray they use as it was overwhelming and made our clothes smell like room deodorant. We never received the door code so I had to track down the host, not sure what happened but it worked out fine.

Clean and Comfortable

The property was small but just right for us. The property manager was very communicative, especially since VRBO never sent us door lock codes. The unit is on Oak Street, which was a bit busy with traffic, although not at night while we were sleeping. It's very convenient for walking to downtown Solvang. Parking is on the street next to the unit. We would stay here again.
