My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Bahama Bay! The pool and hot tub area at the clubhouse was very nice. I loved the "beach" area at Lake Davenport and wish our visit had been longer so we could have enjoyed this area more. Overall, this is such a great location because the resort is so quiet and peaceful, but you are also only 20-30 minutes from Disney parks.The owner and property manager had help to us within the hour when the door keypad lock malfunctioned. Communication was great!Oh, did I forget to mention the comfortable beds! Such great rest after busy days.Don't hesitate to book this Bahama Bay condo!

Beautiful and clean apartment on the first floor. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Pool towels are even provided. The kitchen is fully stocked, including a dishwasher. washing machine, and dryer also there. Great location, centrally located and easy to reach. We had a wonderful time at Bahama Bay. Great host!

We had a great stay at Sandra's condo. The resort had so many amenities that we didn't get to them all (next time!). The location was very convenient for our trips to Disneyworld, Universal and shopping. Will definitely stay here when we come back to Orlando.

What a great condo, very clean, beautiful decor, and the host was awesome. The property has a lot to offer, pools, jacuzzis, waterpark, beach area, playground area, restaurant and more. Free coffee was offered in the main building.

Place was lovely . Pools were lovely . Only negative comment would be a smoker at one of pools the staff did speak with them several times but they continued to smoke .

PERFECTION

We loved the property and resort. It was a short 3 night stay for Illinois Bowl Game in Orlando, but it was nice to be away from the “touristy” areas and just be able to kick back and relax….besides the game obviously. Furniture was comfy and beds were nice to sleep on. Only “issue” we had were the washer/dryer was too fancy for us to operate…lol. But we figured it out

Disney Trip to Celebrate Graduation

Saved money by staying off Disney property. It's only about a 20-25 minute drive to the parks. The rooms were clean. We enjoyed using the pools. The restaurant on property was convenient for the day we spent just relaxing. My only small complaint would be that the bed was a little too firm for my liking. Other than that we had a great time.

Beautiful condo

We couldn’t really ask for more as far as location. Well maintained grounds, very quiet. Clean, heated pools. The condo itself was very clean, equipped with everything you need - kitchen well stocked, extra pillows and blankets. Just needed paper products, although there were some there. We were very comfortable. Host was very communicative and answered my text within minutes. Thanks for a great experience!

October 2023 Stay

The positives: The Bahama Bay Resort was quiet and clean. Multiple pool areas to choose from and the beach area near Lake Davenport was nice. There was plenty of room in the condo for my family of 5. The images of the condo itself are fairly accurate and it appears the owner is attempting to update the property. Check in/out was super easy. The Negatives: Ants....Realizing this is FL we did expect bugs. However, we did have quite a few ants roaming the kitchen counter. We notified the host and a pest control agency was supposed to come(not sure if this actually happened since we were gone all day). We ended up having to leave any opened food(snacks like chips, pretzels, cookies, etc) in the refrigerator or microwave. The biggest reason for the 2 star review is the smoke detector randomly going off in the middle of the night. 6 of 7 nights this happened. I contacted the host about this multiple times, but nothing was done about it and gave up. From a previous review a few months before our stay this was noted, but assumed this would have been fixed prior to our stay. This was an incorrect assumption. Smoke detectors not working properly is a safety concern. Overall, the property itself has potential to be very nice. Continued upgrades would really make this property standout. Lack of sleep due to the smoke detector malfunctioning really ruined the stay.

Very clean. Very well decorated and stocked. Easy instructions for check out. Biggest negative - block on the temperature abilities on heat/air. Wouldn’t let us set it below 71 degrees snd it was hot at night. Next time I’ll ask before booking.

Beautiful condo but could have been better!

First, the positives! This condo is beautifully upgraded and decorated! Plenty of room for everyone. But we had issues during our stay that will keep me from returning. -NOTE:This building does NOT have an elevator! Amazing, but true. It does disclose it but I didn't notice when I booked, at the time of my stay I was having severe back issues and on a walker so it was very difficult--even just to get luggage and downstairs. -Acoustics are horrible in the building, people walking around in their units sounded like herds of elephants. Luckily they went to sleep relatively early so that wasn't so much an issue. -Smoke alarms kept randomly going off at different times. We didn't know whether there was a fire in the building and because this property is VRBO run, the front desk basically checked out of assisting with anything. -Fan in the 2nd bedroom wasn't working. Was told to contact the property manager, so I sent a message through VRBO. No one came to fix it. -The lock is keyless entry and uses a combo, but at night we moved the manual lock to secure. What we didn't realize, is moving that allows the lock to stay unlocked! So the unit was unlocked for an entire day. No one advised. -The toilet in 2nd bathroom was running all night. Took til the 2nd day for prop. manager to respond. And then only the smoke alarms batteries were replaced. Nothing else fixed. Also very rude waitress in restaurant. But also Alicia there was fantastic! Food was good there too.

Family getaway

It’s our second time staying at this resort and first time in this unit. The resort is beautiful and quiet with everything you need right there. The unit we stayed in was up to date and the owner is a gem!! I have recommended this place to several of our friends who want a place to stay while visiting Orlando!

June vacation

Great property! Lots of pools, which was great. We found a quiet one next to our building. Close to shops and parks! TV’s didn’t work on the last night we were there, suggest providing some instructions on how to use. Also would recommend replacing the bathroom vanity in the master bedroom, looks like maybe water damage on the bottom sections. Overall I would recommend this property!

Disney Trip with the Kids

The accommodations were great and much better than a hotel. 3 bedrooms/2 baths with a full kitchen and family room. PERFECT! The host was very responsive.
