We found a lot of dust on door ledges and other moldings. Items that needed stocking: frying pan, dish soap, there were no extra garbage bags- we had to get bags from another cleaning company before we left. One of the dining chairs dropped a screw. One of the bathroom faucets was very loose. The house was very spacious for my shower bling trip.

We had a group of about 15 people of all ages and loved that we had plenty of room for everyone. Bedrooms are big and bathrooms are plenty. We hardly saw the kids they loved the game room so much downstairs. The community pool with a waterslide was a big hit too. Plenty of dishes and cooking pans, bowls ,etc. Great vacation! Great house!

We had an issue with a couple of the beds during our stay. Management came and was able to tighten screws and secure the mattress so my family could sleep on the beds. They were very kind and ask if we needed anything else during our stay. Overall we had a wonderful time in this house.

Great location and house is set up well for a large group. House was clean and well constructed. Comfortable beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Soundproofing is great. Kids had a great time with entertainment set up in the basement. Highly recommend for a large group gathering.

The house was clean. We had an issue finding the chemical for the hot tub but finally found it. Needed a sauté pan in the kitchen and the can opener didn’t work. It would be nice to have icemaker hooked up. The house was beautiful and had an amazing amount of room. I would stay there again.

Overall we had a great stay. The host was very easy to contact and very prompt. The home is in a great area. We have been renting vacation cabins 2-3 times a year in the Branson area for about 25 years and Hollister is a great area to stay in. The only disappointing thing for us was the home was not as described. At the time we rented it said 4 king bedrooms, one bunk room, one queen room and one room with two queens. Which was perfect for our group. However when we got there it was 3 king bedrooms, 2 queen bedrooms (1 bed each room) and a bunk room. There was also 1 trundle in a king. We combined some families and made it work but were disappointed it was not as advertised.

Nice facility but the kitchen was short on supplies. (No skillet) Hot water was scalding HOT downstairs and the upstairs was only warm. The home needs a little TLC. Window screens were missing, fireplace stone was falling off, and remote controls either didn't work or the TV wasn't properly programmed.

GREAT VACATION!!!

The house and complex were perfect for our family of 17 total ranging from 3 to 70+. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather together for some fun activities or enjoy quiet time in their own space. We would definitely book again if available.

No hassle, great stay!

Our family of 19 stayed here over the weekend and the space was perfect for us? 3 couples. 2 singles and 11 children ages 9 down to twins at 6mos each!

Double Eagle Lodge

House was the perfect set up for kids and grandkids. They loved the hot tub and basement activity area, and I loved that there was adequate seating for dining and TV watching in the LR. Couple of little small incidentals were quickly addressed by management and communication was great. Definitely would be a place we would consider coming back to during warm months to enjoy all the lake activities.

Perfect Lake house Getaway!

This house was perfect for our family. Plenty spacious for several families with kids. The bunk room was great for the kids to stay in and there was tons for them to do downstairs. We loved the golf theme at the house. We went and played the courses at Big Cedar and the house was just a short drive to the golf course. Everything was as advertised and the house was clean and well taken care of. We would highly recommend this house!

Great Family Home

Beautiful home with ample room for a large family. Plenty of bedrooms with bathrooms. It was nice to have a separate place for the kids in the downstairs living room. Would have preferred some designated parking for the unit. One night after dinner we could only park one of 3 cars anywhere near the unit. Overall it was a great family vacation trip.
