Cabin By the Bay A unique authentic log cabin by the beach with fenced yard

This authentic log home is a great getaway for families and fishermen. A 4 bedroom 2 bath log cabin will accommodate 8 comfortably an additional futon in the upstairs sitting/game room for 2 more. It is within walking distance to beach, saltwater and freshwater fishing. A couple of good restaurants are within walking distance. . We have an RV hookup that is also available for an additional daily charge with your house rental. It is not rented to others. Plenty of parking for cars and boats. Walking and biking trails that go for miles and miles. Two adult bikes are at the cabin. Fish all day have a wonderful dinner of fresh caught seafood and relax by the fire pit for the evening. The fire pit area and large backyard are fenced in so you can enjoy the fire pit and your fur babies together. Walk out the backdoor onto the back porch and you can let them run in the yard.
Small, under 50 lb dogs are welcome for an additional fee and provided they are kenneled when alone. We have a large kennel with bowls for your fur babies. NO bully breeds please.

We loved the cabin
 great space for our family & the location was perfect for us. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed & then some. Looking forward to going back to stay for a longer time!

Simply Perfect!

This house is huge with a big fenced in backyard and very quiet location! The beach is 3 minute drive or a 20 minute walk, but very private, clean with a big fire pit and chairs to use! The house has everything and again, is huge! I don't know how many bedrooms there were, but each one had a big bed with nice fresh linens! Can't say enough about this place! Oh, the town is great too with friendly people and lots of hiking trails!

Perfect stay!

Property was very clean and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked with plenty of room for everyone to help out. Lots of real estate for our 2 boats with a washdown area. Owner went above and beyond to answer our many questions to assure we had everything we needed. Thank you for our Perfect stay! We will be back!

Fun Friends Getaway

Beautiful spacious property! We were a group of six adults (three couples) and found the place to be so comfortable we stayed in every night! Easy drive to beaches and local restaurants too. Love the Forgotten Coast!

Great place to rest and relax

Not much to do in Panacea and not much of a beach, but it was actually what we expected. We had no problem finding beaches with a little driving. The accommodations were excellent and unique. The kids had a marvelous time on the swing and I enjoyed the reading nook. My husband found places to “wet a line” even though seas were too rough to go out on the boat. It is a golf cart community so that came in handy getting around. All in all, it was a great experience and we are so grateful for it.

Great getaway for family time

The property is beautiful and peaceful. Large enough for family to spread out. Nice place to unplug and reconnect with family. The large yard is a huge plus for parking and boats. Boat ramp just down the road.

The Panacea Angler Lodge

We enjoyed a memorable experience! The host Debbie was incredible in terms of attentiveness, flexibility and overall hospitality! As tournament anglers, we arrived at the property to find a pole barn style parking location for all 4 of our boats with power and water. The log cabin has a great full kitchen with an awesome bar filled with seating and an awesome den and dining room. The bedrooms were top notch! I highly recommend this property and this will be our Panacea "Go-To" place to stay! Thank you for everything Debbie!

Great stay at Cabin By the Bay

My family had a great stay at Cabin by the Bay over Thanksgiving. It was a well appointed and equipped house just a stones throw from Mashes Sands beach in Panacea, it was a perfect get-away for a quiet retreat over the holiday.

Perfect for a chill group of friends

Plenty of shared space for the group for TV watching and meals and plenty of privacy for each person. We had five people and we never felt cramped. Check in and check out was really easy and the cabin was awesome!

Visiting for a wedding

The whole family loved the cabin! My favorite part was the swing in the back by the fire pit. My son and I nearly fell asleep while swinging under the trees! It was clean and well kept!

Very Nice again!

This was our second visit to this cabin and we are very happy both times. One thing I would wish for would be a fenced back maybe- we brought our dogs and it would have been nice to have them run around free in the back yard. However our experience was great !

A fun getaway with my husband, children/significants, and grandchildren

The property is located on a quiet street with limited traffic and few distractions. The host provided all things needed to make our accommodations both comfortable and stress free. Cottage very clean and was plenty of space for our group of 11. Location made it convenient to travel to our chosen destinations for our trip. Would definitely recommend this hostess and this cottage. I hope to return one day!

My husband and I are semi retired and found this area a few years ago. We fell in love with it. Fishing is amazing, both saltwater and freshwater. People are friendly and food is great fresh seafood. It has a beach nearby an aquarium that rehabilitates injured and sick marine life. This area offered everything we wanted. Low key, not commercialized, quiet with a lot of things for kids and adults to do.

This property is unique to this area to say the least. Who would ever expect to stay in an authentic log cabin by a beach! It’s spacious but cozy.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Beside being a beautiful log home the interior is magnificent. The entire interior is a combination of cypress, cedar, pine and oak with lots of live edge wood. The bar seats 8 with it lined with live edge. It’s amazing!
