Nostalgic, eclectic, and built to recharge. Lil' Nauti is a one-bedroom one-bathroom pet-friendly vacation rental on Anna Maria Island. Formerly the Aquarius Motel and then Anna Maria Island Beach resort, Mello on the Beach is located directly on Manatee Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. This vibrant condo includes a colorful kitchenette, terrace access and private patios for serious mello-ing out.
Rooms are perfectly appointed with fully equipped kitchens, full-size washers and dryers, clothes steamers, and even pet accessories! Guests are provided with an amenity starter kit that includes shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Additional items provided include dishwasher pods, laundry soap, and k-cup coffee service.
Mello on the Beach has everything you need to enjoy a truly relaxing vacation. All rentals are equipped with pool and beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, personal coolers, and much more! Take a dip in our refreshing pool which includes use of lounge chairs, umbrellas, as well as bathroom and shower facilities. After your long day soaking up the sun, fun awaits the whole family on the activity lawn. Take in a game of cornhole, ladderball, or just sit back and relax by the firepit.
Want to explore all Anna Maria Island has to offer? Mello on the Beach has all your transportation needs covered. Take a short stroll across the street to enjoy breakfast at the Holmes Beach Café where locals come to experience some of the best pancakes Manatee County has to offer. Come for breakfast but stay for lunch, shopping, or a rum cocktail at their popular tiki bar. Just a hop in the other direction is another local favorite; Skinny’s offering the best burgers in the area. Looking to venture a little further? Mello on the beach offers on-site bike access for all our guests. These bicycles are one of the best ways to explore the beautiful and vibrant Anna Maria Island. And if biking isn’t your thing, just hop on the Anna Maria Island free trolley which runs 7 days a week from historic Bean Point to the south end of Coquina Beach.

Couldn't ask for a better location! The property was beautiful and well maintained, direct access to the beach, several restauraunts and a beach bar! I highly recommend staying. I will be back!

Not only was it the most convenient location — steps from the beach and even walking distance to the grocery store—but it was a gorgeous stay. From the thoughtful details of having beach chairs, umbrella, even a blow up beach ball our son loved, to the gorgeous upgrades, we couldn’t have been more impressed. We will absolutely be back for future beach vacations!

Honestly it was a perfect location to walk to grocery and pharmacy stores, as well as local coffee and trinket shops. Would highly recommend for families and couples alike. The location to the beach was top notch and was a very easy drive from Tampa. The entire staff was super helpful and the pool was perfect. The property will be perfect once they can get the outside kitchen completed. Would defiantly stay here again with my family.

It’s right next to the public beach which isn’t ideal but not a deal breaker. It was a little crowded, but it was a good crowd. The surf shop and Skinny’s burgers are right next door. Overall, it was a great relaxing trip and I would do it again.

We didn't notice til the last day the fan was rotating in the wrong direction which is why we would feel warm at night even with the air blasting. Also check the freezer because ours would randomly run throughout the night very loud and wake us.

The Description is accurate, as the location is central to many activities and shops, many within walking distance! The property was very clean and attractive, with fun decor. The owner/manager provided good customer service as they quickly responded to our call for a repair for the microwave. I definitely recommend the property!! My family and I swam every day, walked to the nearby beach and restaurants, visited the other beaches by driving the golf cart, played pickleball, played fantasy golf, bowled, and visited many charming boutiques. We will be back to continue exploring the island and nearby areas.

Mello is immaculate, so clean and very well decorated. Just steps to the beach. Chairs, towels, and umbrella provided, along with bikes you can use anytime. Everything you see when booking is exactly as it appears when you get there. We will definitely be returning!
