Tour host was awesome and quick to respond to any question we had! This location can’t be beat if you’re traveling with a family or just looking for a beautiful spot that steps out to the beach. Large pool was a bonus!

The unit was very clean, well appointed, beds super comfortable with TV’s in each bedroom. So close to the beach, trolley, restaurants, etc. Wonderful experience!!!

They provide beach chairs, beach towels, coffee pods, creamer, bath toiletries and lots of glassware. It was a perfect girls weekend for the six of us. We had breakfast next door at the beach concession and drinks. Will stay again. Highly recommend. Small so you may even have the pool to yourselves.

Amazing Condo on the Beach!

We had an amazing stay at Mello! Three girlfriends and I enjoyed a long weekend at this condo and were completely blown away by the charm and amenities Mello offered. The condo was exactly as the pictures showed - maybe even better. The cute decor was consistent throughout the property and it was equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

Nice to have everything you needed for a beach stay. Loved the outdoor family area and pool. We are very familiar with the area and we knew that part of the beach would be very crowded. Staying in the lower floor unit was great (with two young grandchildren) but the noise from upstairs neighbors walking was louder than we expected.

Two Week Stay - Would stay Again

We had a wonderful two-week stay and will stay again when possible. The unit was spotless and stocked with everything we needed, including kitchen essentials, beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler. The retro décor gave it great charm, and the property felt welcoming throughout. While we didn’t personally use the grills, others did, and they were high-quality and well-maintained. The daily staff and property manager were very friendly and responsive.An area for improvement is the landscaping. Our parking spot was at the end of the lot up against overgrown weeds with sand spurs, which made getting in and out of the car tricky. Staff promptly addressed what they could of the issue, but it extended across the grounds, with visible weeds all around the property, dead palm fronds falling on the pool deck, and foliage dropping into the water, and poor pool circulation making pool cleanliness a challenge. Overhanging trees and bushes also encroached on walkways. The interior was so thoughtfully maintained that the outdoor spaces felt out of sync by comparison. Location was wonderful, very close to the beach. Walking distance to AMI Cafe and Skinny's can't be beat.

Top-end appliances and fixtures (Hello Hansgrohe!), very clean, comfortable beds and set up! Three main points:1. The location is PRIME. Right off one of the most desirable beaches on the island!2. There are NO spices, staples or anything in the house - but the Publix is a short WALK away.3. There are no smart TV or streaming devices in the house, but wifi is great!

Great Place for a Family

The property is well located near a crowded beach. We had two grand parents, mom and dad, and a 1 year old and a three year old. The beach was great in the morning and evening. The pool is nice and a good place to hang out on the heat. Lots of restaurants are close, and a Publix is 5 minutes away. The staff is very responsive and nice. We had three rooms, which were nice. Only complaint is the pillows are large a hard. If you have a bad neck, bring your own. Three baths, perfect. The kitchen was excellent and had a good array of pots, pans, etc. it does need a baking pan for larger meals. There were supposed to be grills, so when we cooked in, it was difficult. Although the unit is in a busy and sometimes loud area, the windows and doors, because they are built for hurricanes, keep the rooms very quiet. Easy to get to beach if you don’t mind a 100 yard walk. We all would highly recommend MELLO for a beach getaway.

Great location!

Location - This was a perfect location for our first (but not last) trip to Anna Maria Island! A parking lot away from a public beach, a great beach shop, Skinny's Burgers, Publix grocery store, and a beach restaurant with food, drinks, and live music at sunset. We were able to bike 20 minutes south to Bradenton area beach, shops, bars/restaurants; and 20 minutes north to same type of area. Beach walks are perfect and the sunsets are beautiful! Units - We were on the bottom level which we loved as there is a sitting area perfect for coffee in the morning or drinks at night. Firepit was great although we didn't use it because we had warm weather. The pool is clean and private with good chairs, umbrellas if you want shade, and a nice pool house with a bathroom. There were king beds in each of our rooms so it fit 6 adults perfectly. Nice big family room and sitting area in the kitchen for breakfast or games. Spacious closet in the master made it nice to keep clothes, luggage, etc. We got in very late at night and were able to navigate it easily with instructions that were sent the week prior. Nice that each unit has a parking spot as parking is tough in that area. Felt very safe even though close to the public beach. Really great spot! We highly recommend!

A Beautiful Rental Close to Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family vacation at Mello on the Beach was wonderful. We were family of 7 with 3 children 6 to 12 years old. There were three bedrooms with king sized beds so we were all comfortable. The family with children shared the bathroom near their bedrooms. The master suite was a larger room with its own bath. The place was immaculate... it’s what I appreciated most. The decor was mid century modern... very cute. Living room and kitchen were a nice size with a table that accommodated 6. We were able to eat in most of the time. We found restaurants were small and couldn’t accommodate 7 without a very long wait. There was a great burger place right across the street. The rental included beach chairs... umbrella wasn’t working. We appreciated the pet friendly policy. The pool was a nice size and the kids enjoyed it. The rental is not what I would consider right on the beach. The beach is a public beach and rental is right beside it. It’s a short walk to the shore. But it was disappointingly crowded. I would avoid weekends. Monday and Tuesday were less crowded. The sunsets were breathtaking. The property managers were responsive and helpful.

Very disappointing that we ask for a one bedroom for the two of us. Told not available but had a 3 bedroom for $8000 for our 9 nights. But every morning at 6 am 5 parking spaces were empty. We were taken advantage of since we wanted to stay in this area.Very disapointed with reservation office.
