Living space

Step inside to a spacious open-plan living area filled with natural light and framed by ocean views. The living room opens directly onto the balcony, where you can settle in with a good book, enjoy your morning coffee to the sound of the surf, or wind down after a full day on the island. Whether you're after a laid-back evening in or a fun game or movie night, the main living area has the space and comfort to make it happen.

 

Sleeping arrangements

The primary suite is generously sized and features a king bed with an en-suite bathroom. The guest bedroom offers two double beds and is served by a separate hallway bathroom - a practical setup that gives both groups their own space.

 

Kitchen & dining

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook at home when the mood strikes. Stock up at the on-site General Store - just a short walk away - and come back to prep anything from a full dinner for the group to beach picnic lunches or a grab-and-go breakfast before the day kicks off. The dining table brings everyone together when it's time to eat.

 

Bathrooms

Two full bathrooms serve the villa comfortably. Both are well-appointed with a bathtub, hair dryer, and hot water, making it easy for everyone to get ready without the morning rush.

 

Outdoor & resort amenities

The first-floor location is one of this villa's best features. Step off the balcony and within moments you're at the oceanfront pool - complete with a children's pool, multiple sundecks, and a charcoal grilling area. The beach is just beyond the pool, making it easy to move between the two throughout the day. Palmetto Dunes Resort itself offers golf, tennis, pickleball, bike paths, boating, shopping, and dining, all connected by well-maintained paths throughout the community. The Arthur Hills golf course is within walking distance, and the General Store - stocked with groceries, beverages, deli items, and what many consider the best fried chicken on the island - is close at hand. Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina, located just across from Palmetto Dunes, adds another layer of activities and dining to explore.

 

Location

Palmetto Dunes is a gated resort community on Hilton Head Island, offering a self-contained vacation experience with easy access to everything the island has to offer. Bike alongside loggerhead turtle nesting sites, watch dolphins offshore, or spot herons and ospreys in the surrounding habitat. Palmetto Dunes is a gated community in which every vehicle must have a gate pass for entry. One gate pass is included with your reservation at the time of booking. If you require additional passes, please request the exact number needed to ensure they are prepared in advance. Each pass has a fee of $45. All gate passes must be picked up at the host2coast office prior to entry.

The Neighborhood:

Shelter Cove is located across Palmetto Dunes and is home to the Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina where there are plenty of activities to entertain.



Getting Around:

Biking is very popular on Hilton Head Island, known for the many award-winning trails. There are recommendations for bike rental companies within your Guest App. You can reserve in advance and they will deliver to you or bring your own! Almost everything you will need is within walking distance, so bring your walking shoes! There are free trolley stops at various locations throughout the island.
