We really enjoyed staying here. The house was cozy, clean and well stocked. There are nice hiking trails on the property and close by at a state park as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, secluded, quiet property with pretty views from the back deck. The home was like new and had everything we needed even extra supplies in case we forgot anything.

Lovely home- clean, all the needed amenities, extra fun with the hockey table, vide gaming, and games in the home. We enjoyed many games of jumbo Connect4! Perfect distance from the Dells, but also less than 5 minutes to beach access/Castle Rock Lake activities. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a comfortable/quiet retreat with close activities and access to the Dells. Owners were very pleasant and quick to respond.

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Setting

Well-maintained, spotlessly clean home with comfortable beds in a peaceful setting. Nice view of the water and woods. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals, also less than 10 minute drive to live music and restaurants on the water when you want to take a break from cooking. Nice sandy swimming beach just 1.7 miles up the road and multiple spots to launch our paddle boards and kayaks not far away. The host responded to questions quickly and the binder on-site with checkout procedures was helpful. The kids enjoyed air hockey and the classic video games--Hamburger Time and Frogger were favorites. We hope to make a trip to Castle Rock Lake an annual tradition! Would love to stay here again.

2025 Celebration!

The house was perfectly situated near numerous outdoor adventures as well as the Dells for additional entertainment. The house offered plenty of activities for groups to engage in, along with beautiful surroundings! Our host was wonderful and provided many amenities. The only, very minor, thing that gave us pause was not having access to the garage. This was a perfect house and can’t wait to visit again!!

Relaxing and peaceful

The cabin was solidly-built and seemed new; the loft area and high ceilings made it feel spacious and airy. It was clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and there were many extras that made us feel welcome, like the baskets of snacks and s'mores supplies, and the aromatherapy soaps and lotions. We absolutely loved the northwoods decor throughout the cabin, like the carved wood fishing lamp in the bedroom. We enjoyed many hours outside on the deck listening to the wood ducks on the river, and got a kick out of trying to get high scores on the retro gaming unit and playing air hockey. While it's located in a quiet, remote spot, it's just minutes away from Buckhorn State Park, where we rented 4 kayaks and hiked. It's also near the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, which was beautiful. We made breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen each day and went to Shipwreck Bay for dinner two nights in a row - delicious. Our only wish was for fewer mosquitoes, which kept us from strolling around the pretty wooded areas. There's an outstanding firepit area to the side of the house that we didn't have a chance to use. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. Tricia is a great host and provides lots of extra thoughtful items in case you forgot something. Cabin is in a great location if you want a quiet stay.

Family Vacation

This is a beautiful home on a large private property. The home has everything you could want for a great vacation. Manny amenities and extras you won't find at rental properties. Communication with the owners was great. Highly recommended.

Tremendous Property

Easily the best place we’ve ever stayed. Loved the trails and the cabin was stocked with much more than we were used to. My kids had a great time and didn’t want to leave. My oldest is convinced she wants a cabin when she gets older. We left with so many memories of our trip and having a great place to stay made it even more special. Christmas Vacation

This house is amazing inside and out! The lake is just yards away as well as the snowmobile trails! We were only hoping for more snow during our stay. :-( Still, the place was perfect for our family and the hosts made sure we had everything we needed and more! We would love to come back when there is snow and during the summer as well. Highly recommend this rental!

Warm home feeling!!

My family of 7 stayed at this beautiful warm home feeling cabin when we went to Warren's cranberry fest, and it did NOT disappoint!! It had all the warm home feelings as if we stayed here before! Tricia was always very quick to respond to my question, we had a last minute change in the number of people, we had to add one more adult and Tricia had no problem with the change! From having games for us to play, to dishes for the dogs they have thought of everything to make you feel at home!! I would definitely stay here again! This was my family's first VRBO experience and with its cleanliness and all the touches you would do to make it feel as if it was your own....it did not disappoint!!

Clean, Comfortable & Convenient

Our family of 4 with our approved dogs stayed at this property and found it to be very clean, very comfortable with nice mattresses and plenty of practical and comfortable seating in the living room and dining room. The deck off the back is so nice, with a retractable awning and plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen and home in general is stocked with all of the odds and ends you have at home. We enjoyed using the air hockey table too. The property is on a sandy lot (typical for that area), but our dogs are accustomed to having their feet wiped when they come inside so that was no issue for us. They liked racing up and down the long paved driveway too. This property has no visible neighbors - you have complete privacy. Feel very secure with the gate at the entrance and home locking system. It's also a fairly short drive to Wisconsin Dells if you want to seek more entertainment outside the immediate area.

First Family Vacation

Beautiful home!! Check in was a little frustrating since I was given the wrong access code & not having cell service made that stressful for us, but once we got in no issues from inside the home, it was perfect for us!! Clean & set up beautifully! Little disappointed in the outside yard & landscaping, no grass for grandkids to play on, just weeds & sandy soil, which I found out after the fact that it’s normal for that area. Also the several dead fallen tree limbs/branches around the fire pit were not very pretty to look at. Overall though we had a lovely time!!! Thank you!

Wisconson retreat

We rented this home as it was only 7 minutes from where we were celebrating a big family reunion. So obviously, location was excellent. The home was clean and well-maintained. There were many amenities and supplies available to use. We really enjoyed our time on the deck which had a power-awning to shade the mid-day sun. The view from the deck of the Little Yellow River was beautiful. Tricia, the hostess, was very friendly and quick to respond whenever we had questions or comments. I will definitely consider renting this property again if I return to this area in the future.

Well appointed home close to nature

This house did not disappoint! All Kitchen appliances, utensils and spices, bathroom towels, and dishes were available. Coffee on the deck in the morning and playing with extended family at Castle Rock Lake made fun family reunion days and the comfortable beds gave us a full night’s rest. We are grateful for the excellent memories this week.

Family Time

Our few days at this Castle Rock home was most enjoyable! We spent some much needed family time together in a perfect environment provided by our hosts. They supplied everything we could have possibly ever needed for the stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the amenities provided :-) Thank you!

Don't pass this place up!!!!

Tricia was absolutely amazing, provided everything that woukd be needed then some. This property is absolutely beautiful, great location and will definitely be returning! Proximity to various fun times. But really the home and amenities cover it all! Id give 6 stars of i could!

Great Family Weekend

Just came back from a great weekend at this property. It was extremely relaxing and everything was very convenient inside the cabin and very clean. We had 10 people in the cabin ranging in age from 12 to 84 and everybody was very comfortable.

Christmas together!

Tricia is a wonderful host. We had winter weather travel issues and she was very flexible in our arrival and departure date so we could spend Christmas with our kids and grandchildren. Also, had a service there to repair the Dish Satellite so we’d be able to enjoy a little football . The slope on the side of the home was perfect for sledding! The accommodations were great- and the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Many extras

Beautiful home and location

Had a great time really loved the home beautiful and very clean great , also had a great fire pit that we enjoyed. Communication with the owner she was very accommodating and we just loved that she had toothbrushes shampoo lotions etc. for us if we needed it everything was just very very nice.
