The house was great for our stay, and the rooms were very spacious with huge and comfortable beds. The open living, dining room and the kitchen are all modern and well decorated. We did have an issue with the automatic keypad at check in, but the host was very fast to respond and get the issue remotely resolved within ten minutes or so. The host was extremely responsive before our stay as well as during the trip, and we were glad that was the case when this happened.However we found the house was sparsely stocked, there were no kitchen towels provided at first and some of the kitchen utensils were in disrepair, and there was very little toilet paper or paper towels kept on hand. The host was gracious to have dish towels and more paper towels dropped off, once again proving their timely responses, but it did take until the 3rd morning for their cleaner to arrive with the products.

Big screen TV. Beautiful views and 5 minutes to a grocery store. The area is very quiet and a wonderful place to gather family.

Stayed for a sibling and spouses get together. The local sibling lived 5 min away. The place was excellent
has a great view to have morning coffee with, great bathrooms(walk in showers and plenty of linens), and clean throughout. Didn’t use all the amenities but this would be a great multi day spot.

This was a beautiful house in many ways as other renters have commented upon - quiet neighborhood, wonderful views of sunrise and ocean, great kitchen and furnishings. However, there were serious issues from check-in. Garbage bin was overflowing with old, foul trash with maggots right next to parking spot; master bed was clearly not laundered as there were hairs on sheets and pillows; bedside lamps did not work; all overhead lights flickered as if faulty wiring; access to unfinished crawl spaces in master BR was unsecured (dangerous with kids); no cutlery at all (odd!); dogs allowed with fee but no mention that yard was not fenced. The main problem with all of these issues was the non-responsiveness of the owner. Owner was contacted immediately with most of the above, however other than thanking us for informing him and offering to change the bedding the day after we had already checked in (we were not going to sleep in the dirty sheets, so we laundered them ourselves), he did not correct nor send anyone to address them. And most every item could easily have been fixed - dump the trash, bring some knives (!), padlock the crawl space, and come over immediately to change the sheets! I asked for a partial credit x 3 times, he never responded but finally when checking out he said I should contact VRBO, which was immediately responsive and agreed owner's behavior was unacceptable. Good luck to future renters.

Cameno get away

It was very difficult to get answers from the host. The whole time we were there we were freezing. We could never get the temperature warm enough for us. The night before we left there was no hot water nor was there hot water the morning we left. We asked for one night's refund to no avail. No kleenex in household. Only 1/4 roll of paper towels and no extras available. Do not recommend. Reserve at your own risk.

Christmas in the NE

Wonderful week with family enjoying the house and celebrating Christmas. Beds are comfortable, living room seating super cozy and the views outstanding. We had eagles every morning swoop by the yard.

Home was beautiful!! The bedrooms were all cozy and comfy. The upstairs shower was amazing!! Was a girls weekend, it had everything we needed and more. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing holiday home

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The pictures are accurate, the home is spacious and thoughtfully laid out. Our whole family including our dog had a wonderful stay! I would recommend this place to anyone planning a relaxed vacation on Camano Island. We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful beach house

We traveled from Vancouver, BC for meeting my brother who was attending a conference in Seattle. I found Camano Island peaceful, secluded and serene. The house was clean and well equipped. Check out at 10 am is a bit difficult that is also strictly enforced but the rest of our stay went well. This house and its views would be terrific in summers!

Quiet, private, spacious!

This turned out to be the perfect place to celebrate my birthday with family from out of state. The views were undeniably vast and gorgeous. The neighborhood was nearly silent and we never once saw a neighbor during our three day stay. The space was spotlessly clean despite it seeming like renovations etc are still in progress. And while the yard was not fenced along two sides it was easy enough to keep my dog contained in the yard. And we were surprised to find a GAME ROOM unattached to the main house but just off the yard equipped with a full pool table and television set/ mini fridge and couch. Overall we were very happy with our stay. I wish the beach that is walking distance was a little larger but Cama Beach is a short 8 minute drive away.

Home away from home

Our weekend getaway was a breath of fresh air. Waking up to the serene ocean view each morning was breathtaking and the open space design of the place allowed for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. It was the quiet retreat we needed, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to recharge. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Beautiful house

Vince is lovely to deal with. He was always accessible with a fast response. House exactly as listed and beautiful. One of the king beds was broken which would have been obvious to the cleaners. This was a bit of a hassle finding out late the first night but they did offer to fix. Should have been fixed prior to our arrival. Regardless would definitely stay again.

Relaxing getaway!

This house is beautiful!! The view is amazing! Full view of the Cascade Mountains is spectacular! Very comfortable and has anything you need to make an enjoyable stay! Vince was very helpful! We hope to return soon!

Summer trip

This was our first visit to Camano island. My family really enjoyed our stay here! It was so relaxing especially with all the amazing ocean views. The house was designed thoughtfully with beach theme and decor throughout the house. Open floor plan on the main floor with 2 bedrooms was great for my father in law who needed wheelchair accessibility. Kitchen was amazing with top of line appliances. Top floor was like a master suite with its own sitting area and bathroom. Loved the fancy showers in the bathrooms! Several TVs were available in the main spaces of the house which had streaming services, although basic cable channels would have been nice. The game room was fun for my boys! My only feedback is that it would have been helpful to have a little more flexibility with a later check out time although I know that’s not always controllable. Would definitely come back again! Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing views and relaxing stay

I stayed at this property with a co-worker so we could get away from the office and do some planning. It was soooo beautiful and clean and comfortable. We got lots of work done at the kitchen table while enjoying the view and taking regular breaks to sit outside and relax. Great place to feed the soul!

Stunning views from a gorgeous home

This property is even better than the pictures. Beautiful sunrises and water views from the gorgeous and comfortable interior/exterior. Practical highlights include AC in every room, fantastic water pressure in clean showers, outside heater for chillier evening, pool table, well equipped kitchen, sufficient and comfortable seating. Easily one of the best we’ve stayed in. Communication with Vince was great. Wish we had longer.
