Maria, a native of New Orleans claims Asheville as her home. She moved to Asheville in 1993, finished her art degree at UNCA and met her partner, Wann in the dance community. Maria has three children. Their newest family member, Soma fills each day with laughter! Maria enjoys time spent with her family....hiking, wild food foraging, dancing, making art and music festivals! Rainbow Mountain Cabin is your Brand New, Modern, North Carolina Mountain Retreat! Massive, wide and spacious covered, wrap-around porch for dining outside or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening with sunset, blue mountain views! Listen to the sounds of the birds and cows during the day and the frogs and owls at night. Lots of windows, vaulted ceilings and light cabin wood make this cabin a happy and bright inviting place to stay! Each bedroom has comfortable queen-sized beds and bedding and there is a master suite on the main and downstairs. The loft upstairs has a sitting area and is used as a third bedroom. The open kitchen, dining room, living room on the main opens up to the large massive out door deck by way of French doors and allows room for everyone to enjoy the cool mountain air! The cabin has excellent AC, high speed WiFi, washer and dryer on the main level and brand new stainless appliances (dishwasher, electric oven/range, microwave and fridge with ice maker). There is an additional patio with hammocks on the lower level, a wildflower garden, as well as, a second living room space and table to use your computer or play games. There are plenty of areas outside on the covered deck to relax and have a cup of coffee or tea in the morning or do yoga/meditation. It’s a true getaway place only 12 to 15 minutes to downtown Asheville yet you feel like your worlds away! Should you need accommodations for more friends or family....be sure to check out the nearby Hummingbird Healing Cabin very similar in style....only it's a studio cabin for one or two people and it's right next door! Both cabins are easily accessible….and it's only 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway trails! It’s so convenient and the cabins are like new!!!
