Modern Cottage near Newport - 3 bedroom/2 full baths & A/C throughout

Relax with the whole family or group of friends at this newly decorated home with New England charm. Our house has 3 bright bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and an open common area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living spaces. The outdoor space features a wrap around deck, barbecue, and plenty of seating. The fenced-in yard has a lots of space for the little ones. There are beautiful views of the Sakonnet River by the house. Newport attractions and beaches are 15 minutes away.

The space:
Two of the bedrooms are located on the first floor and share a full bathroom with a bathtub and washer/dryer. The spacious primary bedroom is on the second floor and has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The primary bedroom also has an adjoining loft area with a workspace.

The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood next to the Sakonnet River. It's the ideal spot for a family vacation with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for everyone to enjoy.

Guest access:
The entire home and outdoor spaces will be yours to use. The driveway fits 4 cars. Maximum 6 guests, as per town rules.

Other things to note:
We are happy to provide suggestions for activities and restaurants so you get the most out of your stay on the island. We have lots of puzzles and games for your entertainment and you can also enjoy your favorite shows and movies by logging in to your preferred streaming services. Cozy bedding and fresh towels are provided, as well as a Keurig coffee machine and K-cups.

If you have a kayak or canoe, or other small watercraft, you can launch it at the public access point down the street.

We do not issue refunds for bad weather or natural disasters.

This house was perfect for our stay for our daughter’s wedding. Close to the venue. Beautiful upstairs bedroom with sitting area. Very nice touches by the host. Would recommend.

Amazing!

Had a lowkey bach party here and it was amazing! Easy check in, I was able to come a few hours early to set up which was amazing! Close to Dunkin and the beach if you want to go for a nice walk! 25 from downtown for all activities! I'd stay here again ◡̈

Wonderful home to spend time with family!

We rented this house for a family vacation that involved several of us traveling from different cities. I was also doing the Amica Half Marathon in Newport. This home was in a quiet residential neighborhood that was conveniently between the airport and Newport. We enjoyed many activities and also enjoyed spending time at the house. It worked out great for us!

The perfect stay for a girls' weekend!

Somehow, this house is even better in person than it is in pictures. Our perfect weekend started with easy communication with Ariela, who let us check in early (and save our ice cream/groceries!) when we beat the traffic and arrived almost an hour before check in. The house is ADORABLE with everything you could need - cookie sheets, napkins, pots and pans, salt and pepper and seasonings, serving plates and platters and bowls, and a huge pantry perfect for stashing away groceries and shopping bags. The highlight of this house is the deck - it is huge with comfortable furniture and two big umbrellas. We spent lots of time out there enjoying the quiet, salty smelling ocean neighborhood. It was conveniently located for us to get to Newport, the wineries and breweries, and local restaurants. Having four parking spaces was also a huge plus for us. I could keep going into details but all that really needs to be said is that this house is a VRBO gem, and we can't wait to stay again!

Weekend in Portsmouth

List of amenities needs to be updated. There is no hot tub at this property even though it is listed as the first amenity. Not sure if the house was cleaned before we arrived. The recycling can was full in the kitchen; cigarette butts left in the ashtrays outside on the deck; the magnifying mirror in the master bath upstairs was covered in food particles leftover from someone who had flossed; the shower head in that bathroom has barely any pressure; a bed in the downstairs bedroom with two beds didn't appear to have clean sheets on it - there was hair in it; many dead bugs and dust visible from upstairs looking down to the first floor. Very disappointing!

Michele, we were sorry to learn about these issues after you checked out. We have consistently gotten very positive reviews, on this site and others, indicating a high level of cleanliness. We would have been happy to send our cleaners out to address any issues during your stay. We have corrected the glitch on the amenities list. For future reference, guests should always reach out to hosts immiediately with any concerns that come up during the stay. I always make myself available to help guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Wonderful home

The home was spotless and very comfortable for three women. Quiet neighborhood but close to the places we wanted to go. We very highly recommend this property.
