Brandon is an amazing host. Our stay has been perfect. We are building a home not to far from Brandon’s house and he has been more then accommodating. We can not thank him enough. The house is beautiful, the views are great looking across the lake.

Great stay

I met some friends here for a week of laughing and talking. We enjoyed watching the lake change each day and had some good walks in the neighborhood.

Excellent Fall Getaway

We have stayed at Brandon's home three (3) times in the past few months and each time is better than the last. The home is warm and welcoming and Brandon has made the check in process effortless. We look forward to our next stay!

Pleasant Place on the Lake

This was a nice cabin-like feel. Overall very clean and a very fun place to be. Only issue we had was very loud wind-chimes at the next door neighbors, but it was a very windy night.

Enjoyable couples getaway!

We found the property to be very well appointed, clean, comfortable and quiet (in February). The lake view was fantastic, especially with the gorgeous sunset we got to see. The listed photos do not do the house justice in my opinion. Overall great experience and great host!

Perfect

My husband and I had an amazing weekend getaway for our anniversary here. The house is easy to get to and in a beautiful location. The view of the icy lake from the balcony was amazing. The house was very clean and beautiful. We would love to return in the summer!

Lovely getaway

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was beautiful inside! Looked newly renovated. It was a bit too cold for us to enjoy the lake fully but from what we were able to use was great! The deck looked brand new, sturdy and safe. The host was very accommodating allowing us to bring our three dogs. I’d definitely book this place again.

Felt Like Home

Wonderful location-beautiful sunsets, eagle sighting, right on the lake! Wonderful home- inviting, super clean, plentiful supplies-Brandon has thought of everything. Even though we had a 37 degree day, our 6 year old boys could not say out of the hot tub. We had a relaxing and great time.

Great place!

Loved this cottage and the lake! Great location, views, lake access… and cottage had everything we needed and more. Very clean and comfortable… and kitchen had everything I would keep in my kitchen, which was a nice surprise. Bathrooms, guest rooms, and kitchen all updated. Dock needs some work but was functional for us to tie up our boat. With all the other updates, I’m sure the owner will update/repair or replace the dock when possible. Owner was great w communication, response to any questions, etc. We plan to stay here again.

Birthday get away

We really enjoyed the house and the lake view. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Brandon was always quick to respond to me. The whole process was gray beginning to end. And we respect the ones that welcome us into their home and want to have it look the same as it did when we arrived to when we leave. If he will have us again we will gladly rent from him again. Thank you Brandon

Klinger Lake

Biggest concern was the sulfur in the water. Since we didn't cook, it was tolerable. We had to go to town and buy water. The faucets in the showers were pretty sensitive and difficult to adjust. Nice having a ring doorbell. Left us feeling safer. Overall the views were awesome and the TV was excellent with a great sound system. Also, while it was a secluded location, it was a short ride to town.

Best Sunset and Surises

I loved it. My wife loved it. The best part was the beautiful sunsets and sunrises. My wife and I felt cozy and warm the whole time in your home. We had everything we needed right there for us. The maintenance lady is Cherri and she is so full of joy which seemed to continue after she left. Her energy and hospitality were bar none. Our host Brandon was amazing. He was literally a text away. He made us feel safe in his home. The home is immaculate, and we are just so blessed to have stayed in such a majestic but home-like feel lake cabin. Thank you for being just a great stay. We will be back.

So Great but Some Not

The house is amazing with so many nice features. The owner was very responsive answering my questing quickly. Some honesty in the description is desperately needed. What I mean is that the per night is lower then other comparable places but they likely do not compare. There are major issues such as the parking. The garage is small and will not fit a truck. I was lucky to get my small boat trailer and Rav4 inside. There is a grass area across the street but it was across from the neighbors house so it is not clear if it is ok to use for parking. THE DOCK is DANGEROUS! and is covered in goose crap. There are no poles for boat mooring. My dog hurt her paw in a hole in one of the planks; she is OK. Charge less is great but be honest about it. Fishing was very good, caught 20 bass in 2 days "no hogs"

Could be a five star property but it's not there yet

What we loved: The lake was gorgeous, and we caught a lot of fish. Getting to a store or into town was not a long trip. The "in-between" restaurant was great. The beds were comfy, the place was cleaned but still needs maintenance, it was nice having 2.5 baths, Also nice to have two empty refrigerators, and the big screen was nice to watch the lions on. What we didn't like: The dock was a disgrace. Broken boards, rotten boards, and goose poop all over it. You're lucky we're not the "slip and fall" type of people. The parking was a joke, couldn't close the garage door if you put a truck in it. We ended up shuffling cars and boat trailers for three days. The check would have been smooth if it had been updated (wrong name to the WiFi/PW), the neighbors on both sides were hostile due to previous renters and the current owner. And the house on one side is VERY close. The water smells funny glad I brought a case. Overall: we had a great time because we were on a fishing vacation with family - regardless of the accommodations and the small struggles.

The parking is not ideal for boat trailers. Trailers can be parked at the Klinger Lake Marina for a small fee. The new wifi router details have been updated on the listing. The water softener has been updated as well. Most importantly though is 2023 was the last season with the current wood dock. A new composite pier will be installed spring of 2024.

Good location for what we was wanting. The overall house needs a good cleaning. Carpet stains , cobwebs all over front door and inside house. The overall setup of the house is nice.

Great getaway!

Four friends and colleagues met here to attend a virtual conference. The house had everything we needed, and the view toward the lake was lovely! We were pleased by how well-appointed the kitchen was, and how comfortable the house feels. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub was not working. We had been looking forward to toasting the ends of our days and the frozen lake from the warmth of the bubbling water. Thanks for the hospitality!

A Cozy New Year

We had a lovely and cozy stay for the new year cooking meal with friends from out of state. Wished the hot tub was working during the snowfall. Felt right at home and so did our pup.

Excellent and very clean!

Despite not knowing that the hot tub was out of commission, this was a truly amazing property and has all of the amenities one could want. Thank you so much Brandon for such a great place for us to stay. We would Definitley love to return during the summer months.
