Perfectly Located Mountain Cabin with Breathtaking, Long Range Views!

Take a load off at Lazy Bear Cottage, a cute cabin nestled on the side of the mountain that will accommodate up to 6 guests! This privately owned two-bedroom, two-bath cabin offers stunning mountain views, central location and everything you need to call it home.

When you arrive, you will be greeted with warmth and a home full of custom furnishings, decorations and everything you may need for your perfect vacation. The inside is open and spacious will tall vaulted cathedral ceilings, plenty of windows for natural light and an open kitchen/dining/living room space in the front of the home. The living room is equipped with a queen sleeper sofa, flat screen tv with DISH satellite service and high-speed wireless internet service. The owner's suite has a king size bed and its own full bath. The secondary bedroom offers a queen size bed and its own bathroom that can be accessed from the bedroom or the hallway.

Love to entertain and cook? The fully stocked kitchen is ready for your expertise with plenty of space to easily seat your party. Outside you will find a huge wrap-around porch overlooking the woods on one side and the long-range mountain views on the other. Light up the grill or sit by the fire pit and enjoy doing a whole lot of nothing!

The cabin is just minutes from Dillsboro, Sylva and Franklin where you can find dining, over a half-dozen breweries, shopping, historic Main Street activities and festivals, rafting, hiking and so much more all within 15 or so minutes. Take a drive over to the Nantahala for some of the best whitewater rafting around, press your luck in Cherokee at the Harrahs Casino or shoot over to Maggie Valley for snow skiing in the winter, all a quick 30-35 minutes drive away! The cabin was as advertised. Fit the needs of our 5 person family. Roomy and quiet. Host have thought of everything; DVDs, books, toys for kids. Beds/linens were very comfortable. Very convenient to Dillsboro, Cherokee and Bryson City. Would most definitely stay here again.

Great cabin in the mountains!

We really enjoyed our short stay at this cabin. It was just what we were looking for. The view was amazing and the interior was cute and cozy. The drive up the mountain was a little scarier than we realized it would be but we quickly got used to it. It was a great spot to stay while exploring the area.

Very nice property with great views. Location is easy to get to, but recommend a vehicle that isn't low to the ground, it may scrape in some spots on the way up the gravel road. Would definitely stay again.

We are just your normal couple from Charleston, SC that LOVE the mountains! Some of our interests are exploring, antique shopping, breweries, getting in and on the water, hiking, and live music. We have 3 kids, a freshman at C of C and 2 seniors in High School.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We always enjoyed trips to the NC Mountains with our kids in the Summer to get away from the heat of Charleston, SC. Hiking, shopping, breweries and anything having to do with getting on or in the water are some of our favorite things to do. We started to look for a small cabin in 2020 and came across this one and fell in love. Brandy decorated the cabin down to each little detail to make it feel like our home and yours. The location is perfect. It's located about 5 hours away from us, is "secluded" but so close to everything we love about the mountains. Also, Brad is a Realtor and the internet and connectivity is huge. When we drove up to the house and saw that we both had 4 bars of Verizon service which made it that much better to be able to work while away. We hope that you will fall in love as we did, come stay at LBC and see for yourself!
