With views of Downtown Frankfort, guests are within walking distance of downtown, the Military Museum, and other local attractions. Only minutes away from the State Capital, Castle & Key, Buffalo Trace, KY Bourbon Trail and KSU. For all history lovers, this home is just seconds away from the Frankfort Cemetery where you will find many Kentucky Legends, such as Daniel Boone.

Located in the Heart of Frankfort. The Bourbon Drop is surrounded by history. The aerial shots showcase the proximity of this rental to the Kentucky River, State Capital, Downtown Frankfort, and Kentucky Military History Museum.

Parking:

Guests will have access to only one parking spot at this unit. Parking will be in the rear of the house, where guest will travel down a few steps to the back door of this unit.

Where Bourbon and Politics run free, is where you will find The Bourbon Drop. This unit features vinyl plank floors and wireless internet. The left hand side of this duplex, Bourbon Drop has two cozy bedrooms, one featuring a queen bed and the second features a full. Bourbon on the Hill also offers guests a full kitchen, washer & dryer, living room views to Downtown Frankfort, and just a short commute to live like a local and experience all of Kentucky's finest. An iron and ironing board come with this unit for all of those important events and photos. Residents will enjoy heat and air conditioning during their stay. Your Booking does not include the 4% local Frankfort Occupancy and Transit Tax. This will be sent as an additional request upon approval of booking. While this property is pet friendly, all guests must have their pets pre- approved and pet fees may apply. Affordable place to stay while visiting the bourbon trail. Parking is tight for mid size suv. Absolutely 1 parking spot available. The reminaing parking spot is for the other VRBO. Host is very responsive.

This property is very falsely advertised. I’m surprised by how many positive reviews they have received. When we finally arrived at the property (it was very unclear where the actual location was on gps) it seemed run down. When we entered the front door the floor sank down when stepped on and did not seem safe. It is not pictured in the advertisement but the neighboring area is notably run down. The house next door is uninhabited and boarded up. We did not feel safe. The place was not cleaned prior to our arrival which was disturbing. There were empty liquor bottles and the beds were all left obviously used. We left and found a nearby hotel to stay at. We contacted the host by telephone and were told that we would receive a full refund right away. We did not initially receive a refund and had to send multiple messages to finally receive our money back over a week later.

Great location and was clean. Toilet is low to the ground so keep that in mind if you are tall or can't squat low. You also share your parking area with another tenant so it can be frustrating if they don't park on their side since there is limited space. These things didn't bother us or take away from our stay though! Would stay there again!

Weekend Stay at the Bourbon Drop

We had a great time! Check in was easy, was great place stay for a couple nights. Have a few bars/ restaurants in walking distance. Parking is very tight if you have a larger vehicle . I would stay here again.

We arrived early evening. Had a bit of a challenge obtaining rental access information via host. Issue was promptly resolved with call VRBO customer service. Enjoyed our stay and downtown Frankfort was lovely.

Nice house in a central location. We didn’t have to go far to hit distilleries or good food. We enjoyed a short visit but it was jam packed with enjoyment. We enjoyed Buffalo, Castle and Key and the amazing Woodford. Thanks!
