Beautiful little house

All: I have seen some “negative” experiences in comments here. Wow! The owners must have done some MAJOR improvements! The place was immaculate, the beds were super comfy, a/c was spot on, it’s in a super quiet street/neighborhood, there’s a wide open pastureland across the street
did I mention new carpet in the bedrooms and maybe even new paint (?) If I ever end up in this area, I’m asking specifically for this house. No joke.

Lovely

Was very tiny and sweet place to stay. I let my 13 yr old stay in thd room with the beautiful old furniture and crystal. She felt like a princess. They do have traps for any pests, but it was very very clean. They provide alot of kitchen items, coffee, detergent, etc. Only stayed 2 nights. Didnt want to leave

This Property Has RATS. Me and my wife were sitting at the kitchen table and Rats ran back and forth across the floor. We checked our bags to make sure they didn't get in them, packed up and left.

Roaches Do Not Stay!!!

I rented this property over a month in advance. The day of check in I received a call from property manager that a long term renter had moved out and left roaches She stated that they got the exterminator out and the property was treated. She insuated that the issue was resolved. Did not offer for me to cancel and get a refund Checked in left our stuff to go to wedding rehearsal and came back to roaches everywhere!! On the bed, the ceiling, the walls, the kitchen table and the fridge. Contacted property manager and immediately booked a hotel room. I asked for a full refund since the property was not livable in that condition. I was told to send pictures so that they can "review" as if I would make this up and that they didn't already know they had a roach infestation. I am still waiting on someone to get back to me regarding my refund. This place should come off of all rental sites until they completely fix this issue. It is wrong on so many levels and I plan to fight

Ole Lemons

First day there it doesn’t tell you the drive way is up a steep incline. Went to sleep and woke up with a roach crawling on me. Got up and turned the light on and there was several roaches crawling everywhere in kitchen and living room. Took pictures and ask for a refund because that is nasty. Left there to find somewhere else to stay got the run around for a week on getting a refund then they only partially refunded me a week later. Terrible experience!!!!

Poor sleep

The property was quaint, relatively clean. However, the mattresses desperately need to be replaced, as they sagged severely to the middle. Two of the burners on the stove were not level, and cooking was difficult. The floor has an extreme slope that would be dangerous for someone with any type of balance issue. The online photos do not accurately represent the property.

Very nice home!

The home was awesome! Very nice extra touches like the shampoo , conditioner and body wash in the shower. Hand soap at the sink. Plenty of dishes, pot and pans! We didn’t need to use the washer and dryer but there was detergent available if you need to. Would definitely stay here again. Very close to a ton of amenities, restaurants and grocery stores.

Eclipse trip

Accomodations more than satisfactory. Many things provided by host i.e., coffee, laundry materials, toiletries, etc. Initially had an issue but host was prompt in helping us work through it. Thumbs up!

Weekend in family

The property was great and host was very helpful. Location to Grocery and shopping great. We were able to have a great visit with our Kentucky family. The only thing I would add would been nice to have a recliner. We would stay again.

We did not stay! Cancelled on us.

About 2.5 hours before we arrived we recieved a text that our reservation was cancelled. I spoke with the property manager and was told there was nothing they could do for us and the cancellation was due to a technical difficulty - ???? Needless the FULL amount needs to be refunded to us. This is the third time we have tried a VRBO and it is the last time. I would like to know when my refund will be sent, who do I talk to about this and what will be done to prevent this from happening to someone else?

It was a beautiful home in a beautiful location and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. 10/10 would definitely stay there again and will be recommending it to friends and family going to see the Ark/Creation museum!
