The home is old but in good condition. Some of the towels were still damp when we checked in and lights in the MBR and some of the other BR lamps were not working. Small leak in MBR shower and faucet. Those issues were quite minor and did not impact our visit. Four couples did enjoy the time in Charleston. The home is very close to King St, cute shops, places to eat and is within walking distance of the market and local tour meeting places. The pool was a great place to relax in the hot humid afternoon heat. Would recommend this home. Each guest had their own bathroom and the location was terrific.

Great location! The home is old so there’s not a lot of quiet unless everyone is asleep. There is a pullout but it’s in the main area and is very small so I’d say this home sleeps 8 comfortably, not 10. They could definitely fit a king size bed in the primary bedroom so I’m not sure why they opted for a queen. Besides the primary, the bathrooms are TINY. The bakery next door did not bother us at all in terms of sharing an alley. A little pricey in my opinion for what you’re getting but all in all, a great location to King St and everything we were in town for!

The CUTEST house!! It was so clean and darling! The pool was perfect for our entire friend group and the house was also perfect! We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this house!

This house is very cool. It is so authentic and the perfect taste of Charleston. Great for a group with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Highly recommend!

Girls trip - 4 women in their mid-50s. We each had our own room and bathroom, though 2 women had to use their own hall bathroom, which were a little smaller. The downstairs sitting area was a bit smaller than we expected but was totally adequate for the 4 of us. We didn't cook so can't speak to the kitchen provisions (push the cabinets and drawers to open them!). It was at least 97 degrees out and humid so we can't speak highly enough of the pool. Parts of it were often shaded so you could decide whether to lounge in the sun or shade and there were plenty of umbrellas as well. There was a ledge inside the pool so you could sit and read in the water. It was a quick walk to King St and there were other little cafes/restaurants close by. It's even walkable to downtown if you're up for it. The house had Charleston charm! The front bedrooms had sound machines to help offset any street noise. One bedroom en suite downstairs and the other three bedrooms were upstairs. Washer/dryer were upstairs (with laundry pods available). Everything was clean when we arrived and the host was very responsive.

Girls Trip!

The Sugar Sweet House was just perfect for the 8 girls during our getaway. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms everyone was very happy. The heated pool was our favorite. Gorgeous place to stay. Restaurants and shopping are walking distance. Loved the entire area.

Outstanding Property

The house was in a great location, having all the charms of an old building, while also being completely updated. Having a private pool on the property made it a 10/10. The host was very responsive.

Love This Rental

Great location. Fabulous pool. Beautiful home. Extremely comfortable beds. Very responsive property management with great communication. The only minor thing to call out is that the upstairs is much warmer at night than the downstairs. Would definitely rent again.

Great House near King

It was a great location to upper King Street for some restaurants & shopping walking distance. Check in process was easy and even able to get in a little earlier. Communication was prompt if we had any questions. The pool was heated but wish we had more towels. The sofa bed was really comfortable! Overall a cute house in a great location.

Great place! Lots of room for each family member to have their own space / bathroom. The house was very well equipped and the managers were GREAT! Always got back to us with quick answers and were very accomodating to our family's special needs. Loved the bakers next door! Highly reccommend this home and these managers! Good but a bit of a squeeze

I liked the neighbourhood and the house was very nicely done - the decor, bedding and useful kitchen and we slept well (despite very little sound proofing between floors) but it was a bit cramped with 8 of us and the table only sat 6 at a push. The pool again was not big but nicely done and well heated. Overall we had a good time.

Fun with Friends

The location was AMAZING, pool was AMAZING the house was AMAZING. the only recommendation I would have is to put a King bed in the back “primary” bedroom. We were not able to enjoy that bedroom for that fact. Disappointing because that is the biggest bathroom. Wonderful memorable vacation
