Waking up to fresh seaside air makes this adorable Beach Cottage ideal for an enchanting Edisto Island getaway. We are located just 900 feet to the ocean. If a low key, relaxed beach vacation is what you are looking for Edisto Island is your place. Many restaurants and shops are walking distance to the cottage. There are other activities within a 10 mile drive and Historic Charleston is only 44 miles away! We hope you enjoy our cozy beach cottage as much as we do-come back often!

This was a great cottage for myself, our dog and my husband and daughter. It was clean and the beds are very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Location was perfect. Loved the Smart TV's, especially on those rainy days. Right in the middle of of everything. Communication with host was timely and helpful. Would recommend for any small group looking to get away!

Relaxing family getaway

The property is comfortable, roomy, and well stocked with just about anything you’d need away from home. Owner is very responsive. A short easy walk to the beach, and a beautiful pond in the back of the property. Look forward to staying there again!

Perfect beach house, old dog friendly

The house was perfect for our needs. We only had 3 adults but it would work well for 2 couples or 2 families with young children. Easy access to the beach and walkable to shops and restaurants. We look forward to coming again.

We stayed there for most of the month of March. We enjoyed out stay. Since we had our dog, the fenced in yard was a plus. Nice house. We wish there were screens in the windows to let a little fresh air in.

This property and it’s owner were wonderful. Four friends stayed to relax, enjoy, and get away to Edisto. It was everything we hoped for. Clean, well stocked, comfortable and in a great location. We will book the property in the future.

Wish it was mine. Edisto isn’t a secret anymore, sadly. It’s a South Carolina treasure. People are kind and friendly. It’s just a cool, laid back beach. Hope it stays that way.

Everything you need!

This cute little beach house had everything we needed! The kitchen had just about any type of cookware or serving ware you could need. We also appreciated having access to a few spices so that we didn’t have to buy any. They have a Keurig and a regular coffee maker, as well as a Blackstone grill outside. The dining table is huge, there is plenty of seating in the family room, and the beds were super comfy! The backyard is fenced in, which was a huge plus. We had a great time!

Perfect vacation cottage.

My husband and I loved this wonderful cottage with giant oaks and palms on spacious lot. The house was fresh and clean and completely stocked with everything you could possibly need. Good quality linens were included. The water for drinking and cooking was top notch. No worries about having to keep supplied with water. The complete house and yard we’re fenced so we didn’t have to worry about our dog. Parking area was huge. Nice dock on pond to watch wildlife. Great TV and internet Wi-Fi service. Lovely short walk to ocean. Definitely would love to stay here again.

"Just Right" Bungalow

We called Worth the Bait cottage homebase for a week, and it was exactly what we needed. We had friends on front beach, so we really just needed a soft place to land each night, and it was that and so much more. We appreciated the ample front drive shade, since our cars were just sitting all day. The proximity to beach access number 9 couldn't be beat. We were treated to deer encounters/sightings each evening, wonderful birdwatching throughout the mornings and evenings, and plenty of space to dine, lounge and rest. Laundry set-up was clearly brand new, and has been well maintained. Laundry/mudroom right off the kitchen was so convenient. Modern conveniences + thoughtful amenities + cozy beach feel = a "just right" bungalow beauty.

Beautiful Edisto Beach

The appliances are fabulous & kitchen very well equipped. It’s a comfortable house but some areas are cold in winter, like the master bath with no heat source. The house could really use a deep professional cleaning. We needed the low house with fenced yard but the yard had not been cleaned up. After payed the extra 200 for the pet it could have been more accessible. Loved the beach (2 blocks away) walks and safe, quiet, beautiful community. Messaged the owner about problem with door lock and she drove the hour from home to work on & fix it. Thank you! Pat
