When you just need to "get away from it all," this peaceful retreat nestled in the shade of towering trees isthe perfect destination.
Casa de Sombra is a completely renovated two-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath townhouse minutes from the West Gate of Hot Springs Village.The Village spansover 26,000 acres of the Ouachita Mountains and features 11 recreational lakes, 30 miles of natural walking trails,nine unique golf courses, pickleball and tennis courts, and a variety of other recreational options.
Want to explore beyond the Village? It's only a short drive from historic Hot Springs National Park in one direction and Little Rock, the state's capital city, in the other.
Guests of"House of Shade" are less than a 5-minute drive from the Lake DeSoto Marina, where you can enjoy lakeside treats, boat and kayak rentals, and live music events.

All around great place!

We stayed here for 2 nights and it is hands down one of the cleanest places we have stayed. It is updated with the latest decor and is in a great location. Definitely will book again!

Contemporary Tranquil Retreat

Wonderful, clean, contemporary furnishing in a peaceful, wooded setting. Loved the screened in porch listening to nature. Easy access to the owner whenever I needed anything. Would recommend to anyone.

Great place to stay

We had a great stay at your home. The beds were very comfortable. The owners were great. They answered all of our questions before and during our stay. Check out was very easy. We went golfing at Cortez. It was very well maintained, and hole#17 is immaculate. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing your home.

FANTASTIC

We have stayed in this area before, and love the proximity to Hot Springs but enjoy staying away from the hustle and bustle. Fantastic walking, quiet neighborhood! This is one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in! Michelle and Ron have done an awesome job with the decorations and the property had everything we needed for our stay! This is an annual trip for us every spring, and we definitely hope that this property will be available for us next year. Can’t recommend it enough!

Highly Recommend

This rental is perfect. So loved enjoyed our morning breakfast on the enclosed screened in porch..it was raining at times during our stay. It was so peaceful and dry while enjoying this nice addition right off of the living room. Its inside a super large gated community which is nice. This townhome is located within beautiful Ozark nature, rolling hills, and next to a beautiful lake. Its close to all the city things you may want to do and also close to the crystal mines. Highly Recommend!

Very nicely renovated and well equipped. Quite but a few draw backs…. Need full length mirrors and drawers for storage to unpack in each bedroom. Our biggest drawback was there was no window/door for emergency exit in case of fire in the king bed bedroom.

little getaway before we have to deal with big surgery

This was exactly what we needed! The Home was perfect in everyday and will seek you out again thext time. It had everything you would need, and if it doesn't, Walmart is right around the corner. We saw when we were renting from people in our area that we would be covered....and we were with the can of "Slap ya Momma" seasoning, just when we needed It! Thanks Ron and Michelle Let' do it again

Casa de Sombra

Arrived early and owner allowed us to check in a little early. The property was very clean and there were several pieces of literature the owner left to help acclimate oneself to the Hot Springs Village. Property is 2 bedroom(one king, one queen) with 1 full bath between the bedrooms. Upper level living space was open and with a powder room. One screened porch on living level and an open deck off the second bedroom. Plenty of dishes and pots/pans. Even had Instapot. Nice quiet location on a non busy street. I think this is a wonderful setup for a couple or a couple with 1 or 2 kids. Owner was easy to reach and helpful. Recommend this unit highly.
