Oceanfront- 2 bedroom-rooftop pent house on one of the most popular beaches đŽ
elegant apartment with breathtaking view of the ocean you can see the waves from your bed and sip your coffee in the living room enjoying the same beautiful view enjoy romantic walks to Daytona pier, good restaurants nearby // night life - music -everything what this city offers is around the corner . Pool is closed for maintenance till February 2023
Inside was very nice, great views. Owner had accommodations for just about everything (crib, towels, soaps, coffee, etc) Hotel itself could use some updating, but our stay was very nice.
The property was beautiful and in a great location. The unit was clean upon arrival and had more than enough room for the four of us. The only issue we had was with the check in process, thereâs no one manning the desk so it was a little confusing but we figured it out! Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!
This was by far our best experience with rentals. The Penthouse was beautiful, cozy, very roomy and the Sunrises were spectacular ! Aneta was extremely attentive to our stay and was available for advice anytime I texted her. Plus she redecorated the Penthouse exquisitely ! Lots to do in the area and many great seafood restaurants.
Thank you for a terrific place to lay our heads for a few days. The view from this unit is unmatched. We loved waking up to the sunrise and having the ocean in view from the king size master bed. The living room was so comfortable with ample seating for lazy nights in. The owner provided all tools needed for cooking meals, as the grocery store is just minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Great views and clean BUT the building was disgusting on the 9th floor. I did not feel safe taking my 7 month old son through it⊠reeked of pot in strong, incense with strange noises and people. The front bedroom with the great views smelled so bad of weed that we had to move to the other bedroom in the middle of the night. House was clean and cute. Views of the ocean and people watching were great. I had to personally send messages to owner to ask about check in in which she responded quickly. For checkout, I hope we did it correctly as I never got a response back. Overall I would rate a 3 star. Great views, cute and clean. Oceansideâs 9th floor is disgusting and NOT kid friendly. This part of Daytona was not somewhere you would want to walk at night. Thankfully we have family in Ormond to enjoy a pool and the beach.
We have lots of families traveling with kids , we are on the beach with toys and beach equipment, couple family friendly beach front restaurants within few minutes, next door condo buildings are selling apartments for $800K - 1,5M so I would not call the area not safe . Mini golf and water park are few blocks away so if someone is not a beach - person and prefer Orlando over beautiful sunrise and sandy getaways then definitely Daytona is not the place . I am sorry that my guest had problems with guests who did not follow our rules and were smoking on the property but I can not be responsible for all the people staying at Oceanside Inn
We were sadly disappointed upon arrival. Building is under repair and apparently has been for a while. The lobby is being updated but rest of building needs a lot of work. Only 1 elevator for 9 floors and usually smelled of marijuana. We know you can't control what other residents do but building management could if desired. No washer in unit and the coin laundry only had 2 washers and 4 dryers. The unit itself is nicely decorated but not well stocked. View was nice but windows very dirty, but it did rain for a couple days so that helped clean a couple of the windows. Also no instructions for anything in unit. Place could be nicer with a little more work on owners part.
The view was awesome, right on the beach, however the outside of the windows were all streaked. Plugs for your phone by the master bed were non existent, only one side of the bed lights worked. The dehumidifier was super noisy, and had to be left on at all times. The hallway on each floor was gross carpeting and the wall trim had been removed. Not all the burners on the stove worked, there was no pantry room to store your food. The kitchen sink was a small bar sink between two posts, making it difficult at best to do dishes. We were surprised to find on arrival that we were additionally charged a 10.00 per day tax parking fee that was not included in our renal agreement. The property boasted of a hot tub, that clearly had not been functional for quite some time. The apartment had no closets or drawers for your cloths. The view was good, but we really missed not having a balcony.
The condo proved even more spectacular than the listing photos, with floor-to-ceiling windows on two side, plus the main bedroom. Watching the sunrise from this property was truly wonderful. Both David, the property manager onsite, and Anita, the owner, were immediately responsive and available. Anita has supplied the condo with extra beach chairs and toiletries. Both Winn Dixie and Publix grocery stores available within three miles of the property. Parking easy and accessible. Lobby newly remodeled with upgraded corridors and fitness center forthcoming!
