A treasure tucked between Seacrest and Rosemary Beach, Tranquility at A La Paix is a private 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom condo in a gated community of just 4 townhomes. Enjoy a calm oasis away from the hustle and bustle but easy access to the pool and beach tram service.

The main living area is on the 2nd Floor and built for family fun, with a stunning yet comfortable seating area next to fantastic chef's kitchen. The huge island acts as the hub of the home and makes a great spot to gather. This kitchen is fully equipped, and the chef in your group will not be disappointed.

Each of the 3 bedrooms is on the 3rd floor of the home (up 20 steps from the main 2nd floor). The first floor of this home includes your garage access/parking plus the laundry area and an outdoor shower.

3rd Floor Sleeping Arrangements:
Bedroom 1: King bed, TV. Private bathroom with tub/shower combo.
Bedroom 2: Twin-over-twin bunk beds plus twin day bed with twin trundle. Private bathroom with tub/shower combo.
Bedroom 3: King bed, TV. Private bathroom with dual sinks, large shower and separate tub.

Beach Access:
Enjoy FREE tram service from March - October to (and from!) your beach access across 30A at Sunset Beach. It runs 7 days a week, starting at 9 AM with the last pickup from the beach at 5:30 PM.
Distance: .5 miles | Time: 9 minutes walking.

This property is just steps to the 2 pools in the Villages of South Walton condo complex, which is adjacent to Tranquility at A La Paix, and our guests have access to these neighboring amenities. 

Your stay at Tranquility at A La Paix comes with Xplorie’s best activities! one ticket per day, per activity! (over $800 in nightly value) Tee off at Emerald Bay or Regatta Bay, zip through Baytowne Adventure Zone, and sail on the Sea Blaster Dolphin Cruise. Enjoy Big Kahuna’s Water Park, Black Light Mini Golf, and scenic bike rides with complimentary rentals. Explore 30A with ease and adventure!

An initial Benchmark signature box of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 pack of kitchen wipes and liners for each trashcan plus 2 washing machine pods. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of facial and bath soaps/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom.

Amazing place and great location.

Plan to book this location again. Great house. Very clean and perfect for our family of 5. Great location, so close to all the shopping and especially the candy/ice-cream shop.

Great house

The house is in a great location and very comfortable. I would suggest an additional cutting board or two as well as a couple of real knives. The tram to the beach was very convenient and we would choose this house again on our next trip.

Super clean with all the comforts of home

This was The perfect place for us to stay. Three very spacious bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms was great for everyone to have their own space and privacy. We also loved that it was a small gated community that helped enhance the safety since we had five children with us. It is a great location that was a short walk to all shops restaurants and the beach. They do have the tram that can take you to the beach but we rarely used it because the walk was short enough for us. All of the appliances are top-of-the-line and the kitchen had every single thing you could possibly think of that you would need. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful home and great location!

Tranquility al a pain is a beautiful home with 2 garages, which keeps cars cool:) Short walk to the SeAcrest beach. Easy walk to Rosemary, Alys, and the shops at SeAcrest. Make sure to click on arrows when checking in with codes- gate codes are hard to find. 2nd garage door never worked properly, but was nice to have the cover. Limited utensils for eating- had to buy plastic utensils. Huge, eat-in kitchen was a great hub for family. Place stayed nice and cool. Would stay again!

First of All, Paula is a MAJOR ASSET to your company! Our family evacuated from New Orleans and we were in desperate need of a home to accommodate family, some elderly.Her compassion was such gift. She managed all our needs and can't Thank her enoughđŸ€—. For future bookings, I suggest you include in description of property that there are 2 sets of stairs and include pictures!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself was nice and was as described. The management company however failed in multiple areas. Codes didn’t work for the pool, for the gate, for the outside door, and trying to get a response was ineffective outside of the 45 minutes we spent upon arrival trying to get in. We were never able to access the pool and never heard back. Awesome.

Very nice house, location can be an issue during Spring Break...

The house was great--Spacious and clean, updated and very secure with it's own courtyard (shared with 3 other homes) and 2 car garage. Beautiful kitchen and plenty of space in the bedrooms. The location CAN be great as it is located near many shops, stores and bars and not far from beach access, BUT I do NOT recommend this place to stay during Spring Break unless you have 14-18 year olds and you don't parent them and just want them to go party with friends all night. This area is a cesspool of teens with no parents during Spring Break! Kids up screaming and fighting all night. Also, the "Private Beach Access" is for a TINY area on Seacrest Beach, so be ready to shell out $100+ per day if you want any space at all, the beach was insanely packed (again with teens). If you're a family with younger kids, you will hate this location during Spring Break, but it's probably nice at other points of the year. Also, We had no internet all week despite a service tech coming to the house to try and fix it, but not the end of the world.

Great house but had some issues

The house is great. The location is good, great space. We did have a few issues. First, WiFi didn’t work the entire time we were there and cell phone reception was poor. It’s just challenging not having WiFi with kids and needing to work some - it’s an adjustment if nothing else. The management firm tried to help but were not able to get it fixed over three days. Also, the furniture is cheap, the pots and pans are destroyed (scratched Teflon) and the place was a little beat up. One of the beds needed to be reattached, which they did come out and fix. Last, we didn’t get instructions about how to get into the entrance gate of the complex. This was unfortunate just given it was pouring rain when we checked in. Overall, it’s a great property, but it’s definitely treated like a rental by the owners and management company and could use some improvements.

We had the property manager come out and look at it and he just unplugged and plugged it back it and it worked for a little while, but it is Mediacom... so that's why it didn't work great.Beach access is not very clear at first and the map provided is not very helpful. We ended up just walking around and asking someone.Other than those minor things this is a great place to stay. It is a great little area with tons in walking distance. We would definitely visit again once our baby is older!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the aesthetic and location of the property, but the lack of general supplies in the unit was a complete disappointment. We flew in from other parts of the country and were not aware that the unit would not come equipped with pool towels, so we spent over $100 purchasing pool towels that we can't take home with us. Also, we had to buy garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, other home supplies to keep the place tidy. At this price point, these items should be included. It's ridiculous to be expected to purchase these items upon arrival. Also, no salt/pepper or oil, cleaning supplies to keep the countertops clean or even a broom to sweep up after ourselves left us feeling totally unkempt and really detracted from our experience. There were no cozy blankets (not even a comforter on one of the twin beds upstairs), and only one towel per person. Again, very disappointing for the price point. I will not be staying with Benchmark in the future and will not recommend anyone I know does either.

There were some takeaways that we would keep in mind if we did decide to stay here again. 1. The house has no extra trash bags. This is a small thing but becomes important at the end of your stay when you are cleaning up to meet the check out expectation of the management company. We had to get creative with the ways threw out the trash.2. This is an expensive house. We felt like we got nickel and dimed when we asked for an early Checkin. No one stayed there the night before us so you would expect that an early check in wouldn’t be an issue, but they were looking for ways to make more money which was very obvious and not appreciated.3. On our last day we tried multiple times to get ahold of the management but they completely ghosted us. If you call this company, they let the call go to voicemail and expect all the details be left in the voicemail so that they can later text you a response so they don’t have to talk on the phone. We just felt like that was unnecessary. We had a simple question on our last day and the management company didn’t call us back, but rather texted us and in response we texted back asking them to call us which they ignored. I texted them twice asking for a call back and they didn’t acknowledge those texts in the slightest. Probably because we were checking out and they stopped caring about the guests at that point. Overall, the house was nice, the location was nice, but they don’t provide much in the house to make your stay seamless and they refuse to communicate unless it’s a conversation about paying them more money. I would recommend this property to a friend but would forewarn them that the accommodations of the average short term rental home are not provided here.
