Cozy Beach Cottage DM for winter prices king beds

Welcome to A WAVE FROM IT ALL. It’s close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located beach cottage. This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom is the perfect place to kick back and relax. Enjoy the amazing sunsets and uncrowded beaches. Pets are welcome (2dogs with pet fee ) please keep dogs off the furniture and out of the beds please. Reach out to us for a long term rental for our winter pricing. We are about a 15min walk to the beach and a 3min drive.
The space
Open floor plan with big comfy sofa and stocked kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer.

3 bedroom 2 bathroom each room has a smart tv or Roku. (No cable)

Main bedroom has king size bed and en suite bathroom and walk-in closet.

Bedroom 2 has a king size bed.

Bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds.

Hallway bathroom.

Outdoor shower.

Dogs are allowed (2 dog limit) for an additional fee of $200 that is not done through Vrbo you can pay through zelle,Venmo, and must be paid before your keyless door code is given. Please pick up after your dogs and make sure they are house trained and please keep out of beds and off furniture. If excess dog hair or cleaning is needed you will be charged extra.

Fenced in backyard with deck and patio with seating and dining table also a charcoal grill.


The whole house is yours during your stay use anything in the house. check in is 4pm or after if we can accommodate an early check in we will. Check out is at 10am.

Only off limits is the owners shed in the back.

We provide linens and towels and if you would please use the makeup linens to remove your makeup.

Please only flush toilet paper in the bathrooms also clean the lint catcher on the dryer thank you so much!

Oak Island is one of around 18 barrier islands on the coastal plain of North Carolina. It’s both a tourist area and retirement destination for area home buyers, who are attracted to its laid-back lifestyle. While the 13-mile-long island is one of many along the coast, it’s not to be overlooked. Because Oak Island faces south, residents are privy to gorgeous sunrises and sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. Many other barrier island beach communities in North Carolina face east, so sunsets happen over land or the ICWW. That usually means competing with buildings for a great view. But when the light display happens over the ocean, more people can enjoy the beauty of it.

Absolutely loved staying at your little place. Everything we needed was there. Perfect outdooofor our small dog. Would love to come and stay again !

The house and it's furnishings were good The beds were comfortable and the location was easily accessible. The problem was the cleaning service had not been doing a good job and several areas were very dirty or disorganized.

Awesome place!

We had the best time at Sydney's place! She was very quick to answer all of my questions as well. The beach was just a short walk away and we really enjoyed the fenced in yard for our 2 dogs. I would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Home

The house was very clean and easy to access. Brought two small dogs with us and the backyard was great to let them out. It was a quiet neighborhood and about 15 minute walk to the beach. Great place and would stay there again.

Awesome time at Oak Island

The house was everything as listed plus more. The location was ideal with grocery stores, restaurants and beach access options all within 15 mins. The host was very welcoming and responsive. This was the first time visiting the area and is definitely on our list to return.

Friends getaway

This was a very nice place. The owner was very quick to communicate. We had a little issue upon arrival and she quickly responded and remedied it. It was a bit of a walk to the beach. Probably about 15 min. So we opted to drive most of the time, because that’s a long walk with a lot of beach stuff. But it is $20 to park, we were only there a couple days, if we were there longer I would have tried to figure out another option.

Tranquility in the harbour !

We would like to thank Sidney and her family for sharing this cozy, comfortable house with us and our older pet. The yard is perfect for privacy and pets. The house is in a great location and in great shape. The nights are so quiet on the island, it's hard to get up and go to the beach! But this home is ideal for families that want to travel with pets and/or kids. We like the lack of stairs. Nice roomy, ONE level. That's important for us and our pet at this! And always remember, is your going to the Island, make sure to rent a golf cart. It just makes it easier to get around, especially to the beach and back to the harbour. Thank you Sidney and fam for letting us stay. Hopefully we will be able to see you soon! Btw, we decided to stay ab extra night and Sidney responded and arranged it very quickly. Thanks again, and love the property! đŸ–ïžđŸŸđŸ˜Ž

Great house, good value

We came to stay with friends and our two pups. The house had plenty of room for us, comfy living area, fenced in yard for the pups, and many other amenities that made our stay great. It’s a quiet neighborhood that is a short drive to the beach, restaurants, and stores. We would definitely stay again.

Great Vacation!

This home was just as described. The neighborhood was very quiet and the location is close to a beach access. Contact with the owner was excellent. We did not have any issues, just a few questions and she was prompt to respond. We would definitely rent this property again!
